I know this is an off year with the Olympics and the winter summer reshuffling....but why is there so little support? Sure there are powerhouse nations and the requirements are somewhat high to eliminate slowpokes (ever since the swimming disaster in the Olympics..ie the swimmer who had never swam before), but this sport had signs of growth in Asia especially.

My main example is the USA. No team spring women, no team pursuit men or women. What's wrong with this picture? At least get somebody.

Also, disappointed that only Universal sports had coverage, which I can not get.
Well, at least I saw the Olympics live on nbc.com.

I do not understand the lack of interest in track racing - especialy by the USA. If you do not earn World Cup points you do not go to the World Champs or the Olympics The UCI has to take a lot of blame for this - how come they do not have an online newsletter and video for track racing (probably because there is no money in it for them).

sarah Hammer

Well, Sarah Hammer was spectacular in the omnium.

But she was the only American there? No even a men's sprint? no Madison?

I would love to ride it just to set some personal bests.

Sounds like a good spot for an hour attempt. Anybody?
