This thread is the next one in the long tradition of threads that deal with signings, transfers and rumours for the upcoming annual team shuffles.

We will try not to delete this one by mistake... :)

Is there really any chance of Boonen leaving Quick Step? Surely not.

mmmm I dont know but I can see Riis recruiting Tommeke... since Boonen hasnt gotten very good results his salary should be lower... and Riis really needs a classics man in the team...
Another option could be BMC... cuz Big George is looking for retirement and Ballan is in a quite problem with the Mantova "thing",,,

Yup, the only thing that could have made this season better so far would be a Ronde win...

I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves Quick-Step. He was pretty much going to Bouyges Telecom (or whatever they were called then) when the first cocaine story broke.

no disrespect for nuyens he is a great rider but boonen is just better . . .

also imagine how lulzy would it be if riis picked up a guy that got trashed by canc in 2010 only to make him trash canc in 2012? :p

Thanks. I thought there was a thread for this season's transfers, but could only find an old one when I searched.

Really? Wow, not the first team that would have crossed my mind.

Yeah, it was practically a done deal(at least that's how it was portrayed). Is this really a surprise to you guys?:p

But he was going to bring some guys over from quickstep.

Ahhh i totally forgot about that. Did he ever actually ride for him? I actually can't remember him appearing in there colours.
He did, but not for long as he switched to Saunier Duval in June because the folks at La Boulangere wouldn't let him take some med or another for his, err, asthma. Of course, they were more liberal about that kind of, uh, thing at Saunier Duval.

Michał Kwiatkowski would be almost a lock for Movistar if Radioshack disappear - Unzué absolutely loves the guy and he would have been on Movistar this year if the sponsors hadn't pushed for a Latin American presence. As it was, they had to pause and stop negotiations, and Radioshack stepped in and snatched him up quickly (as well they might, he's a top talent).

We need to unban DAOTEC fir this thread :D

Surely we can make up our own barely intelligible drivel based on mistranslating something from Marca, Revista or Jornal Ciclismo and then insult people when they correct us?

I'm surprised Movistar haven't entered Eusebio Unzué, Franco Pellizotti or Sergio Henao for any races yet this season, yet they're apparently on the roster. They injured or something?
