Lars-Petter Nordhaug has offers from Rabobank, Omega Pharma-Quick Step and a yet to be named team. He is also in negotiations to stay with Sky where he feels well at home but I guess that will depend on money and what other plans Sky have for the future.

The biggest U23 talent from France, Warren Barguil (CC Étupes) seems to be turning pro with Argos-Shimano next year. He'll ride with them as stagiaire this fall.

Great deal for both of them, Argos is always a good place for neo-pros and Barguil will add to the non-sprinters fraction of the team which is at the moment a bit weak.

Any rumours over where the Schlecks might end up, given that things aren't looking too good for the current set up?

Astana????
Vino seemed interested in them in the dauphine.
But they have nibali going there.
But of course vino will prefer schlecks over nibali.

OPQS maybe too since they can't get contador.

According to Danish media Astana is a likely destination after Saxo resigned Contador.

Btw remember an article a few weeks backs in relation to the rumours that Schlecks were going Back to Riis and Contador to JB. In an interview JB said he hadnt talked to Contador and as far as he knew the was nothing to the rumours. However, he did imply that the Schlecks might have contacted Riis. Obviously Riis have turned them downed (since he signed Berto) but still interesting that JB implies that the bros might have been talking to Riis.

At least Vino will make Andy a proper rider and force him to ride hard in every race.:p
It could be fun to see schlecks at astana.
But nibali would be there too

And they seem to have a good relationship too.

Schlecks at Astana would certainly cause a temporary brain meltdown for some users here, including myself

I would be all for the Schlecks to Astana! Vino AND Nibali could teach them a thing or two (like how to go downhill, perhaps :p)!

Of course, right now, just getting off the Titanic is the main priority for the Schlecks. They'll go to anyone who will take them.

Im pretty sure that Jakob fuglsang will be looking for another team too. Everytime he has been asked If he is looking for another team, he has been unable to refuse. Would like to see him back at Saxo :)

That would be good for him. He deserves a leadership role!
Of course, he'd probably get there and then have Alberto go for the triple! :D

Why is everyone around here assuming that the Schlecks would go to Astana? There are other teams that would make room for them.

How about?

Vacon?
Rabo?
Argos?
GreenEdge?
Ag2R?

or even Katusha, Garmin or Leakygas

after all Astana was involved with the Hog too ...
