"Leezer retires.

No more room for Van der Hoorn and Lindeman.

Extensions for Eenkhoorn, Roosen, Pfingsten & Hofstede. Wynants and Martens sign a 6-month extension.

Martens becomes DS

Olav Kooij joins July 2021 "

Bit of a wasted two years for Van De Horn. Hope he can pick up where he left off at Pro-Conti level.

Does anyone know what's happening with De Plus?

It does seem that the riders who travelled back to Australia/NZ during the lockdown are taking awhile to get into shape - At her best, Kennedy can do a top 10 or even a top-five in the Giro Rosa - Expect Mitchelton to target another top-level overseas rider to replace AVV - Gigante continues to frustrate the team by renewing with Tibco.
Wonder if someone like Rivera will be available? Sunweb have been hæmorrhaging talent at a rate of knots recently, they've just signed Wiebes and negotiating with Parkhotel on that and the legal stuff was probably a lot of fun. All their biggest names are now young - Mackaij, Lippert, Labous, Mathiesen, Henderson - so Rivera might become the odd woman out. Mitchelton may simply be happy to let Spratt have a chance to lead though, she's earned a shot at it.

The real potential wildcard is going to be what happens to Kristin Armstrong's Twenty20 team with the Olympic delay, does it have the funding to continue at its current level, as obviously Chloe Dygert was a revelation at the Worlds last year but rides a very minimal road calendar due to her track commitments. She's probably going to focus on the track until Tokyo happens, but I can't see her being limited to the US domestic calendar after that, it would be a huge waste of her time, and she'll be a coup for whoever manages to sign her for after that.

Good call by you - Gerry Ryan personally organised Spratt's renewal ( she was never leaving ) but with a nice pay rise - For a sprinter MS did sign Roberts who hasn't shown much so far in this truncated season but would give Rivera serious consideration - Lippert is a pipe dream, while Dygert is potentially the most talented young rider in the world, though she is probably well paid on the track which seems to be her first love - I expect quite a bit of movement in the women's transfer period.

Very interesting transfer for Arkea: They sign sprinter Markus Pajur. One of the many young, talented estonians making a name for themselves on Conti level.

He isn't the only name to look out for on his current Tartu squad. Rait Ärm is another one who could make a step up.

Filippo Conca just signed with Lotto Soudal. While the transfer itself is great, it doesn't make sense, for now at least. Conca already had a contract with Androni. The most logical explanation would be that Lotto Soudal bought him out, which means Savio is now already able to sell his talents before they've even ridden one race for him.

Either that, or Androni really is done for.

Kelderman to Bora
(sources are multiple dutch newspapers)
They also signed 26 year old Ben Zwiehoff, anyone got any details on him? PCS only has one race listed so I'm going to assume he's either an amateur or a MTB-rider switching to the road.
May I suggest a much more extensive database? Unlike PCS who only has his one road race, has his results from MTB and CX too: FirstCycling

He is a MTB rider with quite high numbers. Must be an experiment, trying out riders like him. Lorang already said they are looking for riders also outside the usual Junior/U23 pathways. Tirols Florian Lipowitz is another rider from a different path with Lorang helping bringing him into cycling from Biathlon last winter.

Theres also Jason Osborne riding around the german scene, a rower who is putting out insane numbers, who is said to maybe switch to cycling after Tokyo. He was entangled with Sunweb not long ago, who knows what will happen there.

Apparently Savio is not happy and has called in the lawyers.
