This frame is a partial respray. Specialized 1984 allez se. Post 3rensho production. No offset fork crown, or long pin lugs. Don't matter

My friend, coworker, artist, carpenter, furniture maker, metal fabricator replaced the downtube. He passed away, last august, in a mtb accident.

So, built it up last night:

dura ace 9, single ring (50), 105 crank and r. der., chorus vintage cam brakes etc.

very nice ride. first commute today.

going to ride this on sat. morning world championships tomorrow. It will be the only steel bike on the ride. go figure
