Tro Bro Leon 2012 - 206.4km (April 15)

Okay I already started a thread 'bout this great race last year but I love it and wish you could favour that one to Amstel next Sunday. For it's again streamed live (3.00pm CET): http://video-direct.france3.fr/player.php?id=1349

I don't need to type a long intro, I'll just refer to my earlier thread:

http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=13103&highlight=Leon

The pic for the ribin list and the map profile are the 2012 one (I did not replace it, they did).

I'll just add, this quintessential picture (thanks to L'arriviste):

Apparently, Chainel's racing Amstel this year.

So I'll root for the only crossers remaining: Arnold Jeannesson and Nicolas Bazin. ;)

The weather is dry, this morning I was talking to one of my sisters who lives near there, she says it's been dry and quite warm (20°C) for the last 3 days.

I also see from this webcam pix very near the race course that it's sunny

My tip, Alexandre Blain ftw. He rode well last year and in good form with a decent win in the UK over similar terrain a fortnight ago. Well deputised by Ian Bibby and a certain JTL :D

Blain's form is so excellent he abandoned today's Tour du Finistère.

So, you haven't heard of preparation races? Finistere is far more of a grimpeurs race with climbs up to 250m than TBL which has a much flatter parcours. Let's see how he goes tomorrow shall we?
