Friday will be a busy day for the proloton, because luckily this race managed to gather the cash to continue this year.

We are indeed near the coast:

I would call the attendance mixed but honorable mention goes to these guys: Cunego, Ulissi, Basso, Caruso, Montaguti, Pirazzi, Pellizotti, Hoogie, our African friend Mr Jim and the great climber Duarte.

Sinkewitz is going to get this.

Im curious to see Formolo, he was already really strong in Etruschi.

Serpa!!!!!!!!

:)

He has been so good at the beginning of the year in the past. But that was when he was riding for a Continental team. Good to see him good at this time again. He has his focus set on the Tour again. But now he knows his capabilities in the Tour.

So, Sinkewitz held a 1 minute advantage for over 20kms flat with 25 chasers behind him (including 4 Lampres)? That's strong!
Reading several Italian reports, they both worked well together, until Serpa knew he would need to sprint for the race, and then he saved some juice.

Behind only Cannondale and Colombia worked, but Lampre was interfering as much as they could.

The German loser belittled Serpa's victory: "I don't know the guy who won. Serpa? Who's him? I don't know him. I worked hard but he acted as if it wasn't with him and that's not fair". (I hope my translation is accurate enough)

The loser repeated his poor manners in the podium, but the second time they shook hands.
