"I think they proved to be perjurers themselves. In regard to guys like Zabriske, Hincapie and so on, their credibility outstrips anything Landis and Hamilton said. Landis and Hamilton both lied to grand juries and also the UCI when questioned on matters of the past. As far as the others are concerned I acknowledge they have a level of knowledge that needed to be known by the authorities and they were able to provide it. I applaud them for that, it has helped bring this thing to a head, and we can deal with it and move on."

I think these comments are disgusting. Firstly, when did Landis and Hamilton lie to gran juries? Why is their credibility any worse than Zabriske or Hincapie. They actually lied less, as they told the truth earlier. Well, you could talk about Landis's book, but Lance has at least 3 books full of lies. He said that Landis and Hamilton can't be believed... so how about apologizing to them now that you know they told the truth. You paid a doper and a fraud millons of dollars in apearance fees, I think YOU Mr Turtur have a lot of explaining to do.

Why not say, "Lance is a fraud, a cheat and a liar, and a perjurer with no credibility"?... all you say is that you are disapointed. Disgusting Mr. Turtur.

"Let's move on"

I find it interesting to note that just about anyone that over the last ten-or-so years failed to protect the sport from Armstrong now wants to "move on".

So you can screw up some more? Yeah, right!

but don't you know it's a "new era".
It a clear sign that someone has been complicit.

Here's an idea - you produce some clean racing and then WE will decide that it's a new era. Proclaiming a new era without the benefit of hindsight deserves a slap across the chops.

Why didn't CN correct the facts in the article?

"No, I don't. I think people will see that we acted in the best interest of the race all the time and that is; professionally, respecting the rules and regulations that govern the sport"

Incorrect, the rules were waived to allow Armstrong to participate.

"Landis and Hamilton both lied to grand juries"

Which grand juries?

Amazing how someone who feigned a lack of knowledge about a doping case outside his own front door professes to know the workings of a case a world away.

M Turtur Hein and Pat have less credibility than Floyd and Tyler.

UCI multiple backflips and inconsistencies; M Turtur slinging mud...these boys certainly lost whatever high ground they might have previously sought to claim...Mind you, if anything, it was at most a shallow depression rather than a "molehill", let alone any high ground.

But Australian Mike Turtur, the UCI Oceania chief, shared the opinion of his president Pat McQuaid that there was no point digging up the past.

"It's an opportunity now for sport to really start with a clean slate and then draw a line in the sand and say 'from this point on, we're going to do all these things that will be in place to try to detect cheats in the sport and make it a better environment for everyone'," said Turtur, also the Tour Down Under race director.

So Turtur wants to stop the digging - why?

We need a map like Dimspace produced for American cycling, showing all the connections between cycling businesses, national cycling bodies, UCI, national teams, race organisers. The era they raced in, who their close contacts were, including in the AIS etc etc..

As they say a picture speaks a thousand words and Dimspace got a lot of people thinking/connecting with that diagram of his.

He needs a name change...

Mike Turder... full of s**t.

Which Grand Juries, Mr Turder?

Please provide the evidence, & how did you obtain this information - what is said as Grand Jury testimony is secret.

It cannot be revealed except by the person testifying, then it is simply what they wish to say in public, no longer Grand Jury testimony.
