One of the claims made in the article is that the decline of Unions has caused the middle class to have faltering wages. That is a stretch to use the data from 2012.Depends on the claims made wouldn’t you think? Try to keep all the balls in the air when you hit reply.
Well, why waste time on this forum? What rest? Why waste time thinking about that?
That is a good article. There's a difference between thinking about the historical conditions that produced Trump, and the institutional inertia that keep people from laughing him out of the office and country rather than simply wondering if or when he'll be impeached. Let's not forget that during his first year in office there were several of us posting articles to the effect of the former and other issues while you showed up every day to say that Trump would be gone in a year.
I aim to spend my senescence differently. Posting links that others can read, argue with, take things from is a bit different than showing up every day to rant like a petulant school boy. If the links have ever been of use to anyone than that's a positive.
As long as people are wasting time thinking about Trump and his pathetic lack of self control than the systems that enable him keep going. You keep up the good work.
More than any other media outlet, MSNBC embodies the politics and sensibility of Trump-era liberalism. But the network that many call the “liberal Fox News” wasn’t always liberal.www.jacobinmag.com
Pro war stance?Pulling out of Syria seems vaguely nuts. Glad to see some hard pushback on this. Never know what to make of his incessant fawning and deferring to authoritarians, but two things seem certain. He's a coward, and he really is Putin's be-otch

What does this even mean?Pro war stance?
Neocons seem to hold sway on this forum.
He may be courting a negotiated resignation that includes personal immunity. Both parties could support that and he'd avoid jail. Otherwise; he's in way too deep already. That said; Mike Pence is totally good with the policies you've seen to date and much more in favor with the deeply religocons that vote in a single block. Wouldn't look forward to that situation either.No. If the Republican senators decide to cut bait, the result would be Trump resigning, not impeachment.
