Erdogan is a criminal and it's no surprise that Donald classified the Kurdish struggle as "crazy tribal nonesence." The Kurds have been the only opposition to ISIS in the region, but they are Marxist. Meanwhile the Saudis and Israel, interesting company, will export fascism throughout a hopelessly enslaved to relgious region.

Trump has a little chant..he says over and over and over that the world laughs at the US..for a huge variety of reasons Donald normally gives . He always says w a certain degree of anger.. " nobody is laughing anymore.. " his whole.. "There's a new sheriff in town!" BS.
watching the Russians walk around in suddenly abandoned U.S. Military facility..and what were all Russians doing while being filmed..?
laughing and smiling..ear to ear grins on every face.
you are not winning Donnie

What a ridiculous assertion you make.
The Syrian Army have killed more ISIS than anyone else. ...the extremists who invaded their country.

Ellen? You a homophobe too? What a surprise..a proud member of don's 'base'...
I'm glad you think your boy should 'go it alone', have the biggest, bestest miltary ever..makes for good parades and $trillion deficits..
Bet you are a fan of Graham also..never saw a war he didn't like..and golf buddy of donnie the dope..guess he's not a 'neocon'...

Course, he snuggles up to real prizes like MBS and Netanyahu..another couple of real gems, err racists, err genocidal maniacs..just like your boy don.
homophobe? Why am I even talking to you?
Ellen is democrat grand dame and pals with George Bush. Your people. Her sexuality is irrelevant, however the fact you brought it up suggests maybe you have homophobic tendencies yourself.

Gee, led by a murderer, killer of those who compete or diasagree with him..what's not to like? A small man who harkens back to the old days of the Soviet empire..thinks nothing of 'annexing' Crimea and invading Ukraine..and moving on Moldova or the baltic states..trump wouldn't do a thing if he did..

Here's where you say NATO are the aggressors against the peace loving people of mother russia..

Ya know, it's all about stability in the ME...the US destroyed the counter to Iran, Iraq, and now Russia will provide that stability...having the region be a suburb of Moscow, Iran, Syria, Iraq..no big deal cuz the US is 7000 miles away'...
Russia already had a base in Syria. They're allied with the Syrian Government.

As for Ukraine, get educated...

You take file footage and extend a very disassociated connection to a "policy" that you haven't outlined with any facts.
I'm a supporter of never going into Iraq for any fu*cking reason as there is no way an Infidel outsider force can settle thousands of years of Shiite, Shia Feyli, Druse, Sunni, Sunni Shafi, Quadiri, Naqshbandi, tribal, Christian, Coptic Christian and Jewish grievances.
George W went into Iraq and took a Texas size baseball bat to the Hornets nest, sat on an aircraft carrier and pronounced "job done". Whatever you think Obama "did" he inherited the chaos that *** Cheney manipulated that presidency into committing war acts that served the end he hoped to capitalize on. Obama's presidency inherited economic chaos and still managed a bipartisan US response focused on minimizing direct impact to the US soil. I assume that's where you are sitting and enjoying the opportunity to exchange discourse.
Trump has, without benefit of any military or diplomatic counsel to jeopardize the fragile balance perhaps more than Cheney did. You have to ask yourself who benefits from the outcome. Time to think for yourself and stop quoting from the website d'jour.
"file footage"?

abc have deliberately faked war propaganda (a war that you support because of such propaganda) and you dismiss it as a disassociated connection...
unbelievable

its really easy to fool such people as yourself with such propaganda, you've obviously learned nothing from no WMDs in Iraq and continue falling for the same tricks

You brought up Ellen, I didn't. Bush is friends to a lot of people, a lot of DEMS(he even talks to President Obama), but you mentioned Ellen.

BTW-you mentioned some other poppycock..
'trump ended the war in Syria'..BS..trump enabled Assad and his Russian handlers and military to complete the terror war on Assad's own civilian population...nothing like ball bearings and high explosives in a barrel, dropped from a helo, in a neighborhood, next to schools and hospitals, to win their 'hearts and minds'.
trump allowed assad with putin to kill and mam thousands of assad's own people..he didn't 'end the war in Syria'..your boy herr donnie is an ignorant coward.

BTW-you don't have to 'talk to me'..are you channeling scott-socal? Another trump apologist...

You mean how Ukraine was a sovereign nation, and how Crimea was part of Ukraine..and how Russia illegally annexed Crimea and then invaded Ukraine? Ya know, Texas used to be part of Mexico..I guess it would be OK for Mexico to annex Texas, right? Using your thinking..maybe Southern California too?

4 entities benefit from trump's 'foreign policy via twitter'
Russia(already on the ground in Syria)
Iran
ISIS and Syria.

You might think letting these countries hod sway over the region is OK..I'm sure Putin is thrilled that the US left. Then 1500 troops to SA...trump, your boy, is an idiot.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 A.M.) – Hillary Clinton’s former policy adviser told the presidential candidate that Al-Qaeda is on the side of the United States in Syria, Wikileaks revealed on Wednesday.
“AQ is on our side in Syria,” former policy adviser, Jake Sullivan, told Hillary Clinton in an email dated February 12th, 2012.

While Hillary Clinton failed to win the U.S. presidency in 2016, she was considered a major advocate for regime change in Syria.
This latest revelation comes just five days after the U.S. Navy fired 59 cruise missiles at the Shayrat Airbase in Homs, Syria.

Ghost.I can definitely relate to lots of your points..can you? 1st thing you should do w me is take Obama down from the pedestal..you think I have him there I don't. Obama was known as The Deporter and Chief. Trump could have played that up, he didn't. Obama broke up more families in his first term than Bush did in 2.
your other examples don't really symbolize anything. The way foreign policy is done, anything gets accomplished is w some scumbags on your team. Only the silly, stupid far far right think there is a world where everyone you need to talk to and trade with is a God fearing Christian or an acceptable equivalent.
Trump trashing the Turks is bad. Him running away as bombs are literally falling from the sky is hard to take. But he has come off as Mr. Tough Guy only to gobble the man gravy of every single dude he trashed talked initially. School yard stuff that guy who says stuff from far away only to kiss asz, in person,a coward.
But Trump's turn and run is only new in timing, El Salvador, Iran,Libya,Iraq, Qatar, and the Philippines to name a few have seen the US be your best friend one day only to put up the bounty for your capture.
So is mullet Kim Jung Ung misplaced not trusting any American carrots dangled to disarm? Not if you look at history. Iran is an even bigger clusterfvck, than most..we let the Shah of Iran rape, pillage and murder, we allowed him to steal his country blind. And in an act of complete economic self interest the Iranian government came to the table to only repromise something that they had already said. They were not pursuing nuclear weapons when they signed up w Europe and Obama. Every time Trump blurts out.. "Iran will never get a nuclear weapon!!!so help me God!!"
They didn't want one for a long time. They wanted to trade with the infidels..way easier.
Americans better snuggle up to the thought of doing business with people they don't love..and that comes with limits from time to time. Like when you bone saw up an employee of an American company while he is picking up some needed documents to marry his American fiance.

You completely interpreted my response to be the opposite of what I said. You introduced the concept of people susceptible to "propaganda" (note that I discounted that information, didn't see it; wouldn't fall for it) and then formulating an opinion.
You then assume the opposite of what I stated on Iraq: All clear thinking analysts knew that W's interlude into Iraq was an opportunity for wartime industries to make a buck. No attentive person believed the "yellow cake uranium" bullsh*t except those with an investment in the wartime upside. See *** Cheney.
No one here is falling "for the same tricks" including your chronic labelling of posters' political affiliations or attitudes.

Now Trump is suggesting the Kurds "are no Angels". He would know as the anointed agent the Evangelicals feel will take us to the Rapture. That and he can ease his conscience at abandoning them. That seems a typical strategy for any former Trump associate. They're great until he's done with them. Then the "loser" label comes out. Looks like his supporters get early notice of the topic/tweet branding for the day as he's just saying this and our forum friend started posting his quotes earlier....

just because its the first time you've heard anything truthful about the Kurds, it doesn't mean its the first time many others have - if anything Trump is late to the game in telling things how they are.

You people really are full of conspiracy theories.

I love any interaction that begins or ends with "you people".
I'm old. Real old and have been paying attention so, yes; the history of the middle east is not new stuff. That's why I commented that we should never have gotten involved in Iraq. Saddam Hussein controlled the regional chaos and we didn't need to get involved beyond our air force and naval bases in allied countries. Mr. Cheney and Halliburton needed a stock boost or risk bankruptcy. That's why that happened and many of "you people" fought the disinformation coming from that president's staff.
Where were you at that time?

Trump feeds anyone the convenient excuse of the moment and, when caught out will actually say he didn't say what everyone heard. Or he didn't mean it the way we "misunderstood" him or he was joking. The guy has performed like who he is; a gangster that is under the thumb of a bigger gangster. Because he hugs the flag, selects supreme court nominees that anti-abortion folks hope will overturn Roe v. Wade and won't take any of the guns away there are niche constituencies that are willing to accept the rest of the baggage. Some actually parrot the talking points or follow up with blog contributions they like for a president that has proved he believes in nothing.

I'm not one of them. Most people engaging you aren't either.

Russia never invaded Ukraine. Crimea already had a Russian base inside it. Crimea voted to be part of Russia. Not a drop of blood was shed, ...unlike the violent coup that overthrew Yanokovich organized by your people.
How can you seriously keep writing all that crap you keep posting??
There is a lie by sentence

"Russia never invaded Ukraine": they did. I don't even know how you can dare say they didn't ...

"Crimea already had a Russian base inside it": yes, because the sovereign country of Ukraine accepted Russia could keep using their military base there. Both countries had an agreement, an agreement recognizing Sebastopol as part of Ukraine and allowing Russia to keep using the base in exchange for an annual lease. In this case, there was consent from Ukraine.

"Crimea voted to be part of Russia": one more half-truth (to be nice). Yes, they did but its' pointless to say that without telling the circumstances of this vote. I'm of the opinion a serious and legitimate referendum would have seen Crimean people choosing Russia over Ukraine. But this referendum has no legitimacy whatsoever since it happened after Russian soldiers invaded Crimea. It has never been Crimea's decision, but Russia's decision all along. Invading a country, having your soldiers in the street, choosing your authorities locally, preventing local minorities to vote (and to be respected), using full propaganda, all of that gave no value whatsoever to the referendum. Russia invaded Crimea and then justified it by a supposed will of people, but the way they did it makes it impossible to know what was the will of the people.

"Not a drop of blood was shed": in Crimea, it's (more or less) correct. Because Ukraine was the adult in the room and prefered not to go fighting. In the eastern part of Ukraine, it's obviously false, there was blood (and still is), all because of Russia's intervention. Without Russia's lies and determination to create trouble, everything would have come to normal soon enough. Proof of it is that the only region which are nowadays not under Kiev's control are the ones Russia invaded. Odessa or Kharkov regions are famously quite Russia-oriented and are huge Russian-speaking regions but still are there today a will of the people there to become independent or to reject Ukraine? Excepted for a few dozen people, there isn't. At all. What is then the difference between Luhansk and Donetsk and Kharkov or Odessa? It can't be what people really thought, so it must have everything to do with the circumstances in which they live (i.e in one case Russia created a war and send his soldiers). Russia created this whole mess, everyone with half a brain can see that.

"unlike the violent coup that overthrew Yanokovich organized by your people": "your people" ok :tearsofjoy:
I suggest you have a look at the chronology first and at the responsabilites of everyone.

Ghost probably a good guess for both of us..Trump saying that part of what he considers the rationale for his Kurd treatment is that they didn't help us in the invasions and battles at Normandy..Ok I will let that go...Neither did Germany or Japan..but if that is part of Donnie's data set for his actions in 2019 Syria..appears stupid but still he is right..but at the end of 2 of his press conference clusterfcks, he that Turkey and the Kurds didn't help the United States during WWll..that's just wrong.
On a Trump sliding scale were windmills cause cancer or taxes imposed on products help people..I guess it's all relative.
A Kurd is no more a Kurd than a Christian is a Christian..some people homeschool because they are afraid of outside contact. Some use alcohol and hookers..As far as broad spectrum..I would say that comparing on Kurd helping a U.S. Special forces soldier conduct operations against ISIS..may have a slight variation in behavior than someone buying bread in an Istanbul market. Like Christians some go to bareback porn stars while their wife is home caring for their newborn son..while others stand in front of Planned parenthood clinics trying to force their views on others.. Know Christian stuff like bullying a scared teenage girl for fear of climate change consequences. You that version of Donald 's faith were you bully people or degrade them over race, sex, wealth, education, geography or the slightest difference of opinion..that kind of Christianity..
if someone is helping our Troops in the battlefield they are an allie period.

Who's going to be the Democratic nominee for President? Right now it looks like to me like either Biden or Warren. Bernie is losing a lot of his support to Warren, and his health is now an issue. I can’t see any of the other candidates breaking through big-time, unless something unforeseen (health issue or scandal, e.g.) takes down one of the front-runners, or if there’s a stalemate at the convention.

If Biden wins, he will have to pick a younger and female running mate. My money is on Klobachar or Harris (or even Gillibrand, who has dropped out); Gabbard would be too young and radical for him. If Warren wins, she will also need a younger running mate. Would she take a moderate like Booker or Buttigieg? The latter might help her in the key purple midwest states. Another woman? Gabbard would be a very bold choice, and make a statement about foreign policy.

As a culture we look to be going full Rollerball w Bernie..no f way he is making it 4 years with his heart. A new level of patriotism. He is smart enough to know a win means he dies for our country.
Biden looks to need some ginseng root of that Ginkoba stuff on late night that says it overhauls your memory. He was talking about his kid and fell back w a George Washington reference.?
