100K people die every year in the USA from air pollution. And going by what is happening in the arctic right now, we might not have 11 years before we get irreversible effects.
Check this map out. I think we as a world could focus on the places that are the major polluters more.

https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/share-deaths-air-pollution

Then there is a chart that show the usa moving in a negative direction on deaths due to air pollution.

https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/share-deaths-air-pollution?tab=chart&country=USA

The uk also moving in a negative direction - but above the usa.

To the little dog who continues to hump my leg... I put you on ignore for a reason. Buzz off.....

I love that Obama is micromanaging FISA warrant applications now in the RW fever dreams. But Trump has no knowledge of what his personal lawyers are doing at any point in time. Partisanship is a helluva drug.
If you are going to disparage me I'll probably go ahead and report to the mods.

If you are going to post here and if I'm going to post here then we will probably have to deal with each other. If that doesn't work for you then you'll need to take other action because I am not planning on going anywhere.

Other than that it would appear as if your ignore feature isn't doing what you hoped it would.

Something Trump and Obama have had in common: Knowing what's happening with counterintelligence investigations. Sorry not sorry.

No, we don't have to interact. That is expressly the point of the ignore function. Buzz off....

The gall of people who are now saying that Obama interfered in the 2016 election when nothing was released until after the votes were cast is laughable. Just bad faith through and through...

everyone is entitled to an opinion.

maybe chris thinks obama was a POS?

seeing time magazine say this kid is so special is a bit over the top. She is a good actor and well feed. I wonder how the children in africa feel about her? Does anyone think children there would think she is special?

I don't think we are anywhere near having the last chapter written regarding the Obama admin.

I'm not sure anyone is declaring that to be a fact.

Today has been devastating to Comey, McCabe, Ohr, Strozk, Page, Clinesmith, Adam Schiff, Leftists and nevertrumpers everywhere who now hate Trump more than they love civil liberties.

Blumenthal: "[FISAs] are renewed because they are producing useful information, correct?"

IG: "Or they should be producing useful information."

Blumenthal: "...they were producing useful information, correct?"

IG: "I'm not sure that's entirely correct."

Cruz: “A lawyer at the FBI creates fraudulent evidence, alters an email that is in turn used as the basis for a sworn statement to the court that the court relies on. Am I stating that accurately?"

Horowitz: "That's correct. That's what occurred"

@davereaboi

I know I don’t have many Democrat followers, but I’d honestly like to know: how many of you are still clinging, without evidence, to the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory?

This must be the most comprehensive partisan mass hysteria event in modern US history.

The person who thinks Alex Soros is the whistleblower and that Jeffrey Epstein is alive and well is interested in wisdom. Sure.....sounds like a legit question offered in good faith.

Still waiting for you to supply evidence that Obama personally ordered the FBI to spy on Trump or his campaign.
Still waiting. Here is some testimony for you. From Nevele's most trusted source.

Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz told Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) that he was not aware of any evidence that former President Obama asked his administration to investigate then-candidate Donald Trump.

“We certainly didn’t see any evidence of that in the FBI’s files or the department’s files,” Horowitz said at a Wednesday hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on his report earlier this week about surveillance of the 2016 presidential campaign.

OK. Chris, after looking through all your “do me a favor” post, I get it. You pay far more attention to every single thing Trump says than I do to any other human being on earth, including my closest friends or family members. I guess that’s about all you do.

Yet after all that by the world’s foremost expert on what Trump said, you still haven’t come up with a single example, other than the Ukrainian transcript, where Trump asks a foreign leader for a favor involving something that doesn't or shouldn't even involve a favor. Most of the examples you do post are of Trump asking some friend or acquaintance for some favor that has nothing at all to do with his powers as President.

As usual, your attempt at rebuttal just makes my point stronger. What you have established is that Trump talked to Zelensky as if he were some friend or business associate. He isn’t. If you think they’re friends, you didn’t watch the body language when they met in NY. You don’t ask a foreign leader to investigate anything, let alone one of your political rivals, as a favor. Either it’s something he should be doing as a matter of course, or in this case, should not be doing. Do you think Trump asked Kim to stop testing as a favor? Do you think he asked Xi for a better deal as a favor? Think he asks Republicans to support him in the impeachment inquiry as a favor? Trump, like most everyone else in this case, asks someone for a favor when it’s not something that’s owed to him. And because it it wasn't owed to him, he had to offer Zelensky a deal he couldn't refuse.

An example of a favor would be if Trump attended Zelensky's inauguration, as the latter hoped he would. Trump was under no obligation to attend, and didn't, so of course it would have been a favor if he had. It is not a favor to investigate some case of corruption. Think Trump requested the FBI investigation as a favor?

Even if there had been no withholding of aid, it would have been wrong of Trump to ask Zelensky to investigate Biden as a favor. You don't seem to understand that.

Get back to us when Trump starts droning American citizens.
Get back to us when you criticize Trump to 1% the extent the left criticizes Obama (for the drones, among many other things) and Cinton. Just because you're completely unable to be even a tiny bit objective about someone you support or voted for doesn't mean everyone else is.

Um, .. errr, uh, it’s how Trump talks to everybody. Zelensky is no exception, you wouldn’t be either. I simply can’t be more clear. If you want to persist that somehow it had some different connotation with the Zelensky call then you are free to run with that narrative.

Do you think Trump asked Kim to stop testing as a favor?
I would be stunned if he didn’t.

You have not read the transcript. Trump never says what Biden said in his braggadocio. He never says ’if you don’t say publicly you will investigate Biden then you don’t get the military aid.’

That never happened.

Oh, he made a mistake including Biden In the conversation. A big mistake. Most sane people don’t consider that a high crime or misdemeanor however.

Trump makes a lot of unforced errors. Naming Doral to host the G7 was just dumb. I think he could be far more effective dismantling both party’s with a more traditional passive aggressive approach, but that’s not his style. His propensity to tweet cringe-worthy garbage drives me nuts.

That said, his great gift is allowing people to expose their bias and hypocrisy without force. We all know where everybody stands Including the terribly corrupt corporate media.

Did you miss that whole Russia investigation thing?

The is a big cross section of the Progressive wing over here that is promoting One World Government George Soros Open Borders.

Safe to say I have nothing in common with Soros or his brain-dead followers.
there was plenty of talk about new world orders by Dubbuya back in his days - what makes it so special now that some D's are banging on about it?

Pretty laughable stuff though considering how strong nationalism is worldwide.
that aside, it's not like you can get all 50 states aligned, let alone do something similar on a planetary scale

And... as if, the US would be involved as anything but as the head state of such a thing... hell, trekkies have the US as the home of the "government" of the universe, which is the more likely long term goal

Usually goes along with talk about open borders, Soros, and globalists. Get the drift of why this is a RW talking point now?
pipe dream nonsense, which is likely to be raised as a distraction to something else

I am familiar with the Time piece. Zelensky has said on multiple occasions there was no demand, he felt no pressure.
Can you link to the multiple occasions? We've already discussed the Time interview and the UN meeting, neither of which supports your assertion.

I really believe if Cohen had something on Trump we would have known about it before Cohen was incarcerated.
Classic example of wishful thinking. Logic tells anyone Cohen would not have made these payments without Trump's approval. No lawyer would. Why would he? What benefit was in it for him?

THAT means California has more EC votes than does Montana, 55 - 3.

https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/allocation.html

Still the idiocracy (including Native American Warren) run around like this is some kind of monumentally unfair system. That is nonsense.
California's population is about 40 million, while Montana's population is slightly over 1 million.

Today's math lesson: 40/1 >> 55/3.

The electoral college ensures that a vote by someone in Montana counts for more than a vote by someone in California. Fortunately, by definition the unfairness is greatest for the smallest states, which you may be referring to. Still, those small states add up, and a lot more of them go Republican.

The greater problem is that only a handful of swing states really matter in a close election. The Presidency should not be determined by a few states, whether they're blue, red, purple, pink or whatever. There was a justification for having the EC more than 200 years ago. It has long out-lasted his usefulness.

A key Open Society paper, hacked in its entirety, described the Syrian refugee crisis as an opportunity to “shape conversations about rethinking migrations governance.” Translation: use agitprop to flood Europe and the U.S. with evacuees (among them some probable terrorists); make the old borders and institutions irrelevant; and, in the process, create a world liberated from the restraints of constitutionalism, American exceptionalism, free-market capitalism, and other obsolete isms.
I'd say your translation is the nutty part of that passage. But of course any Trump supporter is going to be paranoid about the possibility of immigrants.

I think it is great that people and especially this child has opinions on the effects of pollution.
I'm wondering if china got the message though? Or india?
China generates twice as much electricity from renewable sources as the U.S. Not just because of climate change, which the Chinese already suffer from greatly and appreciate as a problem, but because it makes good economic sense.

If only she were concerned with pollution and not carbon dioxide.
If only you understood that ANY substance above certain levels is a pollutant.

Conservatives tend to have more trouble with complexity than liberals. Like the fact that a gas we all learned from an early age is vital to life can also be a toxin. Hard to grasp when you have a simplistic, white vs. black view of the world.

How many of them die from carbon dioxide?
Again, simplistic thinking. The deaths don't come from breathing C02. They result from effects of high C02 levels on the environment.

Um, .. errr, uh, it’s how Trump talks to everybody. Zelensky is no exception, you wouldn’t be either. I simply can’t be more clear. If you want to persist that somehow it had some different connotation with the Zelensky call then you are free to run with that narrative.
It has a different connotation in that a favor in this context was not something Trump was entitled to request. Also, note Zelensky's reply:

I wanted to tell ·you about the prosecutor. First of all I understand and I'm knowledgeable about the situation. Since we have the absolute majority in our Parliament; the next prosecutor .general will be 100%_ my person, my candidate, who will be approved, by the parliament and will start.as a new prosecutor in September. He or she will look. into the situation, specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue.
So why was the aid continued to be held up after the phone call? Zelensky promised Trump he would do exactly the thing Trump wanted. Except Trump didn't want Zelensky to look into the firing of the prosecutor. He wanted Zelensky to announce an investigation of Biden.

You have not read the transcript. Trump never says what Biden said in his braggadocio. He never says ’if you don’t say publicly you will investigate Biden then you don’t get the military aid.’

That never happened.
See my previous point. You're right, Trump never said that. He just asked Zelensky to look into the firing of the prosecutor. Zelensky promised on the spot to do this. So why was the aid still not given after Zelensky did what Trump said was the favor? Why was it held up for two months, and released then only because the whistle-blower blew Trump's cover?

Also note that Biden never said, "Stop investigating Burisma or I will hold up the money. " If he was really concerned that his son would lose a $50K a month job (peanuts to Joe, I'm sure), why didn't he add, "and hire a new prosecutor who won't investigate Burisma." If that was Biden really wanted, why didn't he say so?

I pointed out before that if Biden really wanted the prosecutor fired because of his son, he wouldn't have bragged about pressuring Ukraine to do it. You seem to think he would. But if he would, why wouldn't he also demand that the new prosecutor not investigate Burisma?

That said, his great gift is allowing people to expose their bias and hypocrisy without force. We all know where everybody stands Including the terribly corrupt corporate media.
His great gift is displaying his bias and hypocrisy every day for the entire world to see. Yes, the corporate media are corrupt, but not nearly as much as Trump is. You're advocating for a cure that's far worse than the disease.

I have a certain level of enjoyment as Trump describes, almost daily some chicken and egg logic. With Trump's sense of deep American and world history being just slightly shorter than a chickens gestation period.
Trump has his lock step looks thinking like criminals.
Donald and now thru Barr have a strange, stupid perception of right and wrong. Claiming if you're pulled over for a broken tail light, if the cop finds you drunk, multiple dead bodies in the trunk, some automatic weapons, kiddie porn and 50 pounds of cocaine,
You should be let go with a fix it ticket for the tail light.
"thank God you only pulled me over speeding officer, because I just robbed a bank and murdered my family!! I was nervous that it was about that! "
"See you next time"
Trump has a list of convictions himself. His children are mandated to remediate on truth telling and not committing persistent fraud. Trump 's dream team are convicted or pleaded guilty.
But Trump claims that nothing counts, the reason he was pulled over was invalid, Any crimes discovered or confessed to should be tossed because of a faulty root origin.
Now he has articles of impeachment and as important, admissions of most of what he was accused of..his history.
Sad for America, Paul Mannafort is a criminal,Roger Stone, criminal, Sherrif Joe,convicted...on and on with guilty bags of smelly human discharge every single day for Trump.
Alex Jones...Bill O'REILLY..yep more scum that Trump has mainstreamed for his mindless.
Trump gave an interview full of praise for Jones after he was found guilty of beating up dead elementary school children. Billy boy out of a job after mounds of dating data shows he likes to touch and talk to women even when they don't want to have anything to do with him.
So the birds of a feather flocking w Trump are mostly schit birds.
And Trump had a few pre tweets saved to draft in the event that the FBI or CIA didn't follow orders. Yep more " never Trumpers" were born, not out of long standing anything. 1 single act of disagreement.
Sondland..went from far far contributor, a true pay to play friend and EU Ambassador to an unreliable coffee boy.
If Trump has failed at anything, it's his promise to surround himself w the best, the brightest, the smartest people, draining the swamp. Heavy vetting.
Trump is the biggest human resources idiot in American history. Period.

His own family couldn't get a security clearance and he just built from there.
It was said in an earlier post that Ted Nugent calling the Obamas some version of a primate is no big deal. On scale that's true. Considering the source, a child rapist, I wasn't expecting much.
Trump inviting terrible Ted to Oval office and doing a glad hand photo op a a person of his caliber.
Not really sure if Trump brought him up in status or Ted brought Trump down in the muck and filth of the monkey comments. Either way, neither guy should be allowed in the Oval office.
Happy impeachment Donald!!! You are special.

Can hardly wait for Trump New take on all things Jewish. First his daughter.
Her genealogy is going to be hard to square w Trump's executive action making the practice of Judaism a race.
how about those Ethiopian folks and other African folks recognised by Israel? Ivanka is the same race?
saying that Israel has illegal settlements means you are anti Semitic?
Trump has created some doozies we have all witnessed but his views on Jews,Judaism and Israel are baffling..at a minimum.

more of that birds of a feather stuff I was talking bout.
