He did 15 racedays this season and was fine. One of the strongest in Vuelta Asturias and Frankfurt . Sh*t happens, nothing suggests he was not ready.
 
after Morbihan, Cosnefroy has confirmed his program for the next two months: Hungary, Dauphiné, French champs and Sibiu Tour
 
Is it just me or do they race an ungodly amount of races?
Could also be confirmation bias because they just racked up alot of wins last season.
 
UAE is the gold standard. And not just because they have Pogacar or Del Toro. What makes the team special is their riding style. Almost every rider on the team is capable of winning on their own. You don’t see that anywhere else. That’s how they end up with so many victories. But almost everyone on the team also gets their chance. Even in races where the general classification is on the line, riders are allowed to go for their own chances. In any group where UAE is present, they’re practically already among the favorites. That’s what sets the team apart from others. And because everyone has taken their chance, they work even harder for the captain in other races.

The names mentioned above don't really make sense from the UAE's perspective. Ramírez is 100% guaranteed a promotion to the WT team next year. If I were the UAE boss, I’d be looking for riders like Denz or Affini & Frigo or De Plus.

Now all they need is Denz or Affini.
 
Riding so hard on Sunday was a weird strategy. If they want to win the team classification, they should send riders in the break. If they'd let a break go with guys like Pidcock and Halland, the other GC teams would start working to defend their spot. They have to watch out not to run out of gas in the third week, especially in this heat.

Surprisingly, they haven't won a single stage in Austria, not even with Christen, who arrived after a dominant performance at the national championships.
Participation in Portugal is even lower. If they take someone of Cosnefroy, they'll win easily.

Wouldn't surprise me if Jan Christen is subject to a mid-contract buy-out from Q36.5 which UAE will allow - unless he gets a racing brain-transplant.

The older you get the harder it is for your body to keep yourself warm by itself. That’s why you see older people wearing thick or long sleeve clothes. My wife, I have no idea. We keep it at 72 F with two fans and she has a sheet and 2 thick blankets on.
 
UAE Team needs to work a lot to build the team for next years' TdF:

Wellens will be 36 y.o.
Adam Yates will be 35 (basically)
Felix Großschartner will be 33 1/2
Nils Politt will be 33 1/3

Not easy to find a new Adam, but I think it might be time:
Majka stopped being a domestique at the TdF (went on doing so at Giro and other races, for two more years) a few months before turning 34.

Also: don't repeat the Torito dynamic in 2027, ffs.

Narvaez (30) will surely come back in.
Bjerg (28) could be a Pollitt replacement.
Vine (31) can take Adam Yates spot if he can stay upright long enough.
Arrieta would have been an obvious addition for me but it seems he is going to Lidl-Trek which makes no sense to me as he won’t get any better opportunities to ride for himself there than at UAE.
If he can show out well at the Vuelta then Pablo Torres has a chance to join the mountain train.

From what i saw from Kevin Vermaerke this year. Allround+ improve in climbing. He can take the role from Grosschartner
 
they were hit hard and not just by illness , so with that in mind they have a good margin to work with

one or two of almeida vine and narvaez will be there next year
