Do they publish the rankings for UK? Can't find them on UCI site - just the Pro Continental Europe Tour and World Tour are there:confused:

I don't think that there is a separate ranking. There's a World Tour and then there are various Continental Tours, which both Pro Conti and Conti teams compete in.

So there is just the 2 levels of ranking? World Tour and Pro Continental (of which there is Europe, Asia, America)?
So pro teams not registered as World Tour or Pro Continental, just don't get ranked?

Yes, they do. They get ranked in the same rankings as the Pro Continental teams.

If you look in the Europe Continental Tour ranking for teams then you'll find Endura Racing at 26th place for example:

There are 5 Continental Tours. Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

Yes. Also, the independent CT teams Miche, Bretagne Schuller, Loborika and An Post Sean Kelly are all up there ahead of some Pro Conti teams.

It's not that strange. Continental teams can ride any 2.2 and 1.2 race they want plus that they get invited to 2.1 and 1.1 races as well. Pro Continental teams can only ride 2.2 and 1.2 races in their own country and if you are registered in a country with only a few *.2 races then all you have to go on are invites to *.1 races and above and if you are not among to top 6-7 Pro Conti teams then getting invites to good races becomes much harder.

Some of the proconti teams that rank low in the Europe Tour ranking also ride races like Tour of California, Tour of Utah, US Pro Challlenge, Tour de Langkawi, Tour of Qinghai Lake and Tour of Hainan to fill their season and those count for other rankings.

No, it's not enormously strange and Conti teams do have some advantages over Pro Conti ones, as you note. But these really don't outweigh the general budget advantage which PC teams normally have (although Miche must have a fair bit of cash). And PC teams have an advantage when it comes to HC race entry.

Basically, if you are a Conti team and you finish in the top 25 of the European Tour, you are a pretty damn good team at your level and you probably wouldn't disgrace yourselves as a Pro Conti outfit.

And now I really want Barbot-Efapel to race on Pro Conti level. Too bad they're Portuguese, so there's no chance of it happening :(
