Both XCC/XCO doubles in the Elites for Frei and Aldridge. Good news for Charlie as having two jerseys is something extra to add to any bargaining for a new team.
As said may times, there are very few rumours in XC at this time of year, and if there are, they're very rarely broadcasted.

Will be interesting to see were the CFR riders end up.......

I agree, it will be interesting. They seem like they work well together and have good morale together ... makes it a bit more of a shame that CFR is closing down (and for influencers!)

Based on current rules (have been known to change at last minute) grid positions 33 to 40 are reserved for top ranked road or cross riders.
Pidcock is currently ranked road no 5. MvDP is 9 road and 2 in cross.
So either 33 or 34 dependant on what takes priority.

He did, but not quite sure of your point, I was responding to Pogacsa's comment re grid position and the impact on Pidcocks 2022 worlds.

He was ill in the run up to the 2022 Les Gets Worlds; from memory he lost 1-1.5kg during that week......
He wasn't the only one to be ill in those Worlds.....quite a few had below par races; including Vidaurre, Stigger - Carod missed the Worlds through illness, and Puck despite finishing 2nd in the U23, missed the following week's World Cup after catching Covid......
