Frankly speaking, the profile of the climb says that Albasini will inevitably lie down very seriously. But it's the one week race and there are no squads that can drill the peloton really hard, also, Albasini is not a hopeless climber and its a chance of his life. I will support him.

He did celebrate a win last year though. Can't remember which race.

It was Coppa Sabatini. He attacked and got clear of the field and celebrated, but there was a lap more of the circuit left. He didn't know that.

Yes, strong by names, maybe, but not by marginal motivation, I think.

Very interesting whether Gesink, Basso and Samu will decide to organize a test for themselves on this stage or not. Andy has already organized his test, by arriving to Catalunya. :)

High of 6 celsius tomorrow in Port Aine, with 70% chance of rain. But thats at 1400 meters. At 1900 meters that rain's gotta be turning into snow

Wiggo to crank it up on the last climb, leaving Uran & Porte vs Levi vs Sanchez to fight it out.

Good luck to Albasini - if he stays in a minute and a half then he's earned it.
