Hard to gather 'smart things' from the posts each of which contains the only thing "Contador will win and it doesn't matter" you know. But there won't be Saxo train obviously. Sky will try to put the hammer down even if Froome's goal is quite defensive.Miburo said:I haven't read many smart things of you but this time I agree with you unless Contador is getting on Giro-form. It's an old story i know but when he's on that form it just doesn't matter.
Anyway the first win of AC.
I predict that on the first mountain of first categorie Saxo is going to pull an amazing pass. They're going to make purito exhausted.
Will we see an Etna/Verbier attack from Contador? If so, damn...
AC takes the jersey and that way pressures purito to do something back which is a good thing. Cause then Contador doesn't have to attack anymore and will break him more easily in the next 2 mountain stages.
Descender said:Don't be fooled, this is not a big mountains stage. None of the climbs is particularly hard, not even Ancares, which isn't climbed through its hardest side and is capped.
To top it off, it's not even 150km long.
My prediction, and I hope I'm wrong: any significant action will remain within the holy "last 5kms" boundary.
icefire said:You're surprisingly generous. There's a flat/descent section just 4kms before the finish
BTW, do you know if Unipublic has made any comment regarding the road of the hardest side for future visits?
