I still think the biggest problem of Movistar is and has always been Valverde.

Yes, his climbing style reminds me of him.Roglic reminds me of Armstrong
They are legit mad that British/Australians has dominated almost every Olympic sport for 100 years and didn’t even notice their backwards small town Italian cycling races until the last 15 years and now they dominate this sport tooDo you care to explain any relevance or application to this other than prejudice?
I don't understand. I'd expect Valverde to be their leader now but he kept trying to ride away from Quintana? What a mess.Valverde is the biggest egotistical loser in cycling.
It's funny how Quintana sometimes just seems to switch from not aggressive at all to totally stupidly aggressive from one second to the other.Let's agree to disagree. Quintana attacks way too early way too often. It's just that unless he's in stellar form, he usually can't land those attacks until much later on a Grand Tour.
well, they should lure Pogacar too and we could have a Great French Mountain War of 2020 between INEOS Empire (with at least 4 winner/podium candidates) and JUMBO Kingdom (with similar firepower)Roglic is fresher in this vuelta. Next tour should be a war between Roglic and dumo and they are in the same team!! I can't wait
I get it’s an every man for himself type climb but he was 3-5m away at times, makes zero senseI don't understand. I'd expect Valverde to be their leader now but he kept trying to ride away from Quintana? What a mess.
not an Anglo in sight.
This is a photoshopped picture of Roglic -- he hasn't had a goatee while in red.Astana
Saying problem seems too harsh to me specially after seeing what valverde conquered with movistar. But I understood what you saidI still think the biggest problem of Movistar is and has always been Valverde.
I am pretty sure he's incapable of any significant change...I love the tactics by movistar. And the perenial hope that some folks have in Quintana...he will never win a GT again, untill he changes.
Of course it is: did you think they had taken pictures of every rider in every jersey they were eligible for? This is a photoshopped picture of Roglic -- he hasn't had a goatee while in red.
Quintana attacks early, because that is how he's won nearly every big race in his career. Hasn't worked for the last couple of years though, since hoards of big TT guys have worked out how to lose weight without sacrificing power.Let's agree to disagree. Quintana attacks way too early way too often. It's just that unless he's in stellar form, he usually can't land those attacks until much later on a Grand Tour.
I think because nearly every recognises that Valverde, for most of the last ten years, has been a second tier GC rider. While Quintana, until the last couple of years, was pretty much the only guy who seemed capable of breaking Sky domination.Valverde has copped 1% of the GT abuse that Quintana does on here for the last ten years even though he has failed just as spectacularly as Quintana. I guess winning a 900m sprint five times a year makes up for it
