I beg to differ. Fans of Bora, at least, may well be NFL watchers. But, indeed, some backward places may still be stuck on just Soccer.

If they let football (not the american one, the real football) grow naturally in USA, american football would be dead in 50 years. They create rules to not let real football grow just to allow their national sports to have a spotlight (but outside of USA, it is not relevant in any other country. Maybe in 1 or 2 countries). To say it's only viewed by Americans is like saying the Premier League is only viewed by the British or the NBA is only viewed by Americans. Ignorance is bliss.

In the USA they have been trying to grow the popularity of soccer/football for going on 50 years (see NY Cosmos signing Pele) and it is still not popular at all.
Baseball gone? 500 million fans.....globally more popular than golf, basketball or US football.
I personally don't watch any of it but the reality is I am in the vast minority.

Soccer is the worst sport on earth and I say that as an Australian not an American. Truly one of the most boring, soft and dull sports I can imagine
