Actually Rodriguez showed up for plenty of races, he just was in sh.t form due to his injuries.

But in GP Miguel Indurain he was finally in somewhat decent form. Doubt he'll be good enough now though.

That's what I meant too. Sorry for the non-literal use of English.

For the overall I will have to go with one of the Radioshack riders, they always seem to have someone with good form for this race like Horner last year, and most of them are really good TT.

As far as the first stage, hmm S. Sanchez is obvious choice, my dark horse will be hmmmm, Di Luca, since im guessing everyone be watching Joaquim.

When is the last time Rogers rode a decent ITT?

Same goes for Löfkvist really. I mean they can't even beat Gesink in an ITT anymore, so then were are they going to win time?

He's done some good prologues and shorter time trials but not a really good long time trials since 2008. Still, he's better than a lot of the pure climbers but not as good as the best GC TTers. Gesink is not a good guy to compare anyone to since he's probably one of the best TTers among the better climbers.

I'm not expecting Löfkvist to win a race like this. He's too much of a diesel for that. I'm more than happy for him to get a top 10.

L.P Nordhaug has been given a "free-role" for at least a couple of stages. Really hope he can follow up on those great climbs recently, and with a nice breakaway he could pick up a stage win.

I know the pack is much stronger in this race, but he has grown a lot as a climber this year, and I really hope he gets his chance.

Rogers came to Sky for races like this, and I am pretty sure we will be there main leader. Although he will crack in the end..

nordhaug should work for uran and him only.

ll sanchez never works for anyone except himself
Yeah, we've heard that one enough already by now... one doesn't necessarily exclude the other, he can work for Gesink and descend his way to the victory.

Tankink, not Tjallingi, is the Rabobank rider in the break, and the AG2R man is Perget. Still not sure who the Shacker is.

Euskatel are leading the peloton down the descent at a furious pace, they've pulled back 20 seconds without turning a pedal.
