Right, what do folks use and recommend for keeping your feet dry?

I've found various overshoes/booties over the years that keep the rain out to varying degrees. However, after a certain amount of time your feet sweat and you're just as wet as what you'd have been with no overshoe...
Anyone found some that not only keep the rain out, but also let your feet breath and not soak your socks with sweat?

A long time ago when I was a cycle courier we were trying all sorts of things to keep our feet dry.
Goretex shoes worked best with Goretex socks and Gortex over shoes for when it Pi££ed down all day.

Nothing was bullet proof some of the couriers used to put plastic bags over there socks in their shoes " high tech stuff"

I gave up trying to keep my feet (or any other part) dry years ago. None of them will keep your feet dry after 20 minutes. I use overshoes for warmth only (and they do keep your shoes cleaner, but still not dry). Lightweight stretchy overshoes for 5-10 degrees, and 3mm neoprene overshoes for wet or snowy weather when it's 5-degrees and below.

If it's warm enough that my feet will sweat, I don't bother with overshoes.
