Hey Mods. do we really need Rules for the TdF and Rules for general posting to remain Sticky? Seems you could combine the two...

indeed. this has been mentioned before by dim as well but was ignored from the looks of it.

it has been one month since the TdF has ended and the july crowd is long gone so removing that sticky is only logical.

It was left in place because we were still operating under it.
I'll re-engineer the stickies but please be sure to watch out for an announcement on this topic from Dan in the next few days.

Yep, there has been far too many stickies. I only think the big races should get stickies for their stages and the classics but other than that all the others just should be in the general area for people to post in them as if the interest is their then the threads for those races will stay up as it is.

Having races like Burgos and Utah stickied was a little ridiculous. Maybe even have a thread where things can be requested to be stickied so their is some open discussion about what should and should not be stickied?

Utah far and away had more posts than Eneco, did Eneco deserve a sticky?

That week was rare because Utah, Burgos, Portugal, and Eneco were going on at the same time. It happens. Keep the races stickied, but I agree with making the rules thread more concise.
