Appearance fees and all that PR, but did not do much to animate the race ... sorry, getting a bit of exposure at the front on 1 stage does not amount to being a factor. Annnnd they did not win a stage (which Pharm boy said would be dissappointing).

Correction - they showed up, which means the crazed LA fans went nuts. By going for even a short dash off the front, they clearly were the class of the field
