You mean because he won that uphill sprint on stage 3? He dropped like a stone with Roglic attached him on stage 7.

Remco lost 30 sec on stage 6. Overall though. He looked strong till the Tourmalet. Stage 3 sure but also on that wall where they tried to work him over. And in the shortened stage where Jonas started to look better and better.

Just that by stopping Roglic from winning the GT he allowed for Kuss enough leeway to salvage his GT.

First of all Jonas didn't and couldn't prevent Rogla to do anything riding like he did. Secondly the only thing Jonas could do, ridding the way he did, is to win the overall. That is on why he rode behind Rogla, knowing he is ahead in GC. It had nothing to do with protecting Sepp and his GC. Landa was the only one with that mission. Plus Jonas only came ahead in GC due to some shady team tactics. If it would be only about racing then Jonas would likely be out of GC contention in stage 1 already.

P.S. And as said, on how the team really feels about Sepp and his GC ambitions, we seen that after Rogličes departure. Sepp is now well protected by Jonas.

How is Kuss well protected? He’s been nonexistent for GC.

You make it sound like he was ahead cause of better form. That was not the case.

And yes they went with a 2 leader setup and right until that hay bail they (the people in the car calling the shots) had made the right decision

Roglic was leader till last year. This year. No doubt he still commands respect and always will. But outside the vuelta his days as a leader seem over imo.
Who confirmed this to you: Jonas or Primoz? Primoz was long gone on the cobbled stage before his crash and Jonas' problems.

Leaving your #1x2 option laying on the ground while the entire team and cars race by was either a disrespectfully stupid choice or they flat didn't know until they'd committed to chase. The choice they made at that point was the biggest *** you I've ever seen in sports. Any apologies afterward only emphasized how cold and unprofessional that operation was.
Karma may come with Sepp being the highest finisher for them in this Giro. That would be a trip!

2 days ago I was convinced it was hindley, but he fails to step up today. None of these guys can cope with the pressure of being true leader of the time.

Today their best rider was laurence pithe

Seems like Bora still haven’t figured how to prep GTs.

Maybe Vingo’s former coach can bring them that magic dust.
