Why UFC won't test

Kind of a funny article.

"Forget about PEDs," White said. "If we get into this system that we're talking about where we would randomly test these guys, do you know how many guys would probably test positive for marijuana? It would be probably off the charts."

Can't imagine how rife with drugs this UFC circus is. Not that I really care; I just found White's comments to be amusing.
 
since they aren't signatories to the WADA code, they can choose which drugs to test for. But the real reason is obvious, the UFC is just out to make a buck and don't have any lofty ethical misconceptions about the purpose of sport in society. The fighters already aren't considered healthy role models. The real question is why does anyone think that professional competitors in other sports (like cycling) do make good role models.
