Why You Won't Post A Face/Person Behind the Member?

The Face/Person behind the member thread might turn out to be a wonderful turning point in this forum. Hopefully, CN will become a real community where folks know each other by name and face. However, I'm sure some of us will refrain from posting our images. This poll offers some possible reasons...there are probably more. Feel free to add any that I missed.

Ditto (except the uncle part) and I don't want to have to start fixing eveyone's bike Don't mind sending info but not my time. I'm also conserving ink in these hard economic times, somebody has to do it.

You left out the option of: If I see what fellow members look like I might just stop posting on the forum. I know I tend to stop listening to DJ's who's face I end up seeing, especially in person, just takes away my imagination of the voice (text in this case).

I actually hate being photographed. I'm shy about it, and don't feel the need to share such a thing. There are very few photos of me on the web anywhere.

Having said that, I've listed my name before, my home town, my career field, where I work and used to work, my background in cycling. And if you really needed to see what I look like, you could find me online with some digging. However, if you post it here without my consent, I will delete it and scold you!

Off topic, but I like your avatar. It's done in exactly the same style as a picture that used to hang on a wall in my parents' home. That picture was was of Sancho Panza and Don Quixote. Nice coincidence!
