The Slowtwitch thread on this is pretty hilarious. It features an ardent defender who later in the thread is found to be Weiss' father-in-law.

Slowtwich is a farked up place. It has huge threads on cheating by drafting, cutting courses, use of fins, etc. Just a couple of weeks ago they dogpiled a poor mother whose special needs son could not complete a half marathon so she took a car to the finish and got a finisher's medal for him. Yet, whenever Armstrong farts, there will be a thread about it. Even though triathlon is rife with testosterone and steroid use by age groupers, there is nary a thread about it.
