Why is everyone now also terrible uphill?
I agree it's a mediocre race but it used to be a go-to spring races for the tour guys. Tour winner also did Romandie in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. Wonder what changedRomandie needs a major overhaul in general. The place on the calendar is unsuitable weather-wise with some key passes not open yet (e.g. Col de la Croix, the natural lead-in to tomorrow's finish), doesn't fit that well with any of Ardennes, Giro and Tour, and the route is almost always poor. Unquestionably the worst of the big 7 one-week races.
Vingegaard is allergic to discovering new races and Pogacar has bigger fish to fry.I agree it's a mediocre race but it used to be a go-to spring races for the tour guys. Tour winner also did Romandie in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. Wonder what changed
When the Tour was won by LBL non-contenders.I agree it's a mediocre race but it used to be a go-to spring races for the tour guys. Tour winner also did Romandie in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. Wonder what changed
Giro is gonna be a Great White Pogacar eating plankton in an inland seaVingegaard is allergic to discovering new races and Pogacar has bigger fish to fry.
They put in the hardest climb of the year so far, but they put it smack bang at the start of a stage to neutralize it completely. So with the complete absence of real mountains, this race is going to be won by whichever of the best 20 climbers takes the most risks here without crashing. That's actually impressive levels of ***.
-Thomas crashing himself by getting out of the saddle 25m before the finish was a good oneFunniest TDR memory was being able to audibly hear Tj Van Garderen begging Froome not to attack him as he darts off into the distance in I think 2016.
Coll de Pradell? Alto del Vino? They put in the hardest climb of the year so far, but they put it smack bang at the start of a stage to neutralize it completely.
Forgot Pradell.Coll de Pradell? Alto del Vino?
Also Wiggins winning a bunch sprint!-Thomas crashing himself by getting out of the saddle 25m before the finish was a good one
-Simon gescke almost doing a foliforov
-Zakarin getting relegated just for beating Quintana
-Anytime Spilak played with prime Froome like a cat with a mouse
The one in Colombia.Forgot Pradell.

I was mainly talking about the WT stage races so far.
Rodriguez being an Ineos GC rider and just sending it on wet descents feels like violating the laws of thermodynamicsThe one in Colombia.
Rodriguez is seemingly flying relative to the circumstances.
