so nerve racking the final 800mStupidly dangerous. I don't usually sit hoping for no crashes (you know what I mean) but I am really relieved this went without disaster.

I thought the same thing.Ganna-Consonni-Milan, do they think this is the Olympics?
Straights are too dangerous now. Those fast descents straight into the finish are so dangerous. Trek did it perfectly.
In fast finishes anymore who wins is much less important to me than "please no one wreck!"so nerve racking the final 800m
Put a corner in after such descent and than you can do a straight finish as long as you like. But starting the last km at 70km/h and see al these riders swerving a bit. Not my ideal sprint straight.Straights are too dangerous now.
What a time to be alive
wut?How far out did Milan launch there? Huge sprint, yes Merlier was too far back but I don't think his position was more suboptimal than Milan's there.
Groves said the finish made him a little nervous too because everyone was jockeying for position at high speed. Those fast descents straight into the finish are so dangerous. Trek did it perfectly.
Consonni went to the Ineos bus to apologize to Ganna, apparentlyGanna-Consonni-Milan, do they think this is the Olympics?
Consonni better at pursuing, you could sayMilan still looks like he's riding a gear that is a bit too small.
Imo Consonni is better at doing sonething like this than a classic leadout.
The joys of being a cycling fan in the time of Adam. Wet descents are fine, riders struggling with clothing on wet descents is fine. A straight road & its all 'down with this sort of thing'Straights are too dangerous now.
