Visma is short-handed, Decathlon and Bahrain could win the stage from the break.

If Martinez feels good, Bora could gamble on Pogacar now willing to go into the red on the last kilometers and hope for a win. But they have no team for the mountains, so probably also a dead end this idea.

But now the gap isn't growing that much any more. Maybe they will actually chase them down. Last climb is a long one as well.

But if they go in the last mountain with 3-4 minutes of an advantage, that's to much for say Bardet to be caught, I think.

So it is official, the Stelvio is out!

I just don't get why they always choose climbs that have a 50% failure rate or more, and not have a plan b while they are planing the stage.
That being said: the Stelvio was on a totally meaningless position on the stage, so not such a huge loss compared to what could have been, with a different route.

How is it the commentators can't tell the Paret-Peintre brothers apart? The one has a big freaking beard and is the slimmest person imaginable whereas the other is a lot larger and has a much smaller beard...
