He already has an agreement with Israel to go pro for the next two years.

So just read another interview from Saturday with him and he said he doesn't have a contract yet for next season. He's getting a lot of calls after Wednesdays Brabantse Pijl and he's thinking about getting a manager cause he doesn't have one right now.

Bit weird then that Israel says he's basically locked.

They probably tried sneaking in a 2 year deal on the cheap before he got representation, I would be shocked if UAE and Ineos aren't asking the question and knocking on his door with big money. Get a proper agent, preferably whoever the **** got Froome and Fuglsang their deal.
