Vuelta a España La Vuelta Femenina 2024 (April 28th-May 5th)

Kool has not reached top form all season. In saying that DSM normally nail the lead outs.
She's been struggling to get over a bout of early season flu, each time she came back, it came back again,so she's only done about 2/3rds of the racing of the others.

So 2nd is good, especially as we didnt think she'd make it over that hill to stay in touch till the end, though I appreciate the pace might have helped.

She is obviously getting better as she could not get over the climbs yesterday which was an easier stage.

It's a tough old sport.

I wonder if the front group, and probably mainly SD Worx, wants to ride 100km with a hard pace.
I bet the peloton will come back, because too many teams missed the split.
