Exactly. That's why they are "good" riders as in the thread title.
But they are unable to win anything else, despite being eternal favorites based on their "former glory" = overrated imho

Remco is a overrated rider too. Expectations were extremely high for him since his youth. I don't see him winning a Tour in the future (in fact I have my doubts if we will ever see Remco winning another GT)

Imagine someone calling a former World champion, winner of LBL and winner of a Vuelta, a overrated rider. At least we can laugh a bit.

It's like conditional statements. Most people fail the basics.

hmm. I wouldn't say overrated.

Maybe wrongly rated. As in more of a GT rider while I think he's actually better at one day races and weekly stage races. Doesn't seem super consistent in high mountains.

But he's already double world champion, lbl winner etc etc etc
