I like potatoes, but peeling them is probably the one thing I hate most in the world.

I do that sometimes for that exact reason.

Pro tip:

Bake potatoes in the oven (peel on obviously), then out of the oven push them flat (like 1-2 cm), then deep fry them.

It's the best potatoes you'll ever eat

I have tried something similar, but I didn't deep fry them. Maybe I'll try that some time.

Listen, as a Belgian and therefore world expert on fries.

You haven't truly enjoyed potatoes until you fry them in goose fat and eat them with mayonnaise from Devos-Lemmens.
(Listen Americans, I know you guys consider mayo a "spread' but you're wrong. Mayonnaise is god's gift to the world!)

HELL YES to frying them in goose fat - duck fat works too, so does clarified unsalted Lurpak butter!
