Again, that sounds alot like a Mark McGwire Congressional testimony non-answer answer. The only real difference being, George can't contradict his GJ testimony, if he gave any, so he's stuck being evasive until whatever actions from the GJ come out.

It's worth noting George's only denial was that he didn't talk to 60 Minutes. He didn't deny that he had testified to the grand jury, nor did he deny the content of the leak - all he said was that he wasn't the source of the leak.

Weisel is certainly deep pockets - which means he has the resources to fight it, but it could also make him the "big fish" the Feds are after, besides Armstrong.

It's essentially the same MO the Feds tried in the Bonds perjury case - try him in the court of public opinion through gand jury testimony leaks. Didn't work, though, because the only eye witness they had (Greg Anderson, Bonds' trainer) refused to testify.

Maybe they already have - to the grand jury.

I think TH has a lot more credibility in the interview for being reluctant to finger Lance, and always saying "but I did it too" on anything Pelley got him to admit Lance did. It's almost heartbreaking to hear Tyler describe these guys who were clean, had given their life up 'til then to...

Testimony leaked from the Bonds grand jury too - sort of a PR battle played out to "squeeze" who the feds really want. I think it was telling that GH denied talking to 60 Minutes, he didn't actually deny what the report said. But Phil of course characterized GH's tweet as "denying the charges"...

Hincapie's statement after GJ leak is very McGwire-like: "I wish we could focus on the future instead of the past" was McGwire's way of attempting to dodge answering Qs about PEDs.
