Transfers "Rumours & Reality" and Young Guns

I was wondering that too. Certainly puts a doubt there although of course nothing been proven yet..... We'll find out on 1st September I s'pose.

Transfers "Rumours & Reality" and Young Guns

I think Team Sky are also signing Nibali. Cycle Sport magazine have been dropping "hints" about this for a few months.

Why are British cyclists so much better than Australian cyclists?

Ooooh. Put the handbags away! :):):)

    2009 Tour of Poland

I love the profile graphics. On Stage 7 they seem to be riding into a wall about 10k in..........:D:D:D

Why are British cyclists so much better than Australian cyclists?

You guys need to let us Brits have our little bit of success...... we've been pretty rubbish for a while! On a serious note, now the track lot are targetting the road, it should be interesting. I find it a bit odd because I'm not sure road racing will ever be truely popular in Britain as it is...

    Bradley a road man?

I'm sure the triple Olympic gold medallist and multiple World Champion is quaking in his boots. ;) Have you been drinking?

    Contador blasts LA

This is all very childish and silly. Will someone please shut the two of them up?

    Bradley a road man?

He's had one serious attempt at a Grand Tour and managed to finish 4th. That's not bad is it? And after achieving nearly everything on the track who can blame him for wanting to see what he can do on the road? Good luck to him.

    Contador blasts LA

I'm disappointed by Contador's comments today. Unnecessary and not a particularly classy thing to do. However we don't know exactly what has been going on in the background. So I won't judge him too harshly until we know the full Astana story over the past few weeks....

    European Perspective...

As my fellow Brits have mentioned, most of the coverage here revolves around Cav and Wiggins, for obvious reasons. As far as coverage of the Tour goes.... it's been ok but not great. As someone mentioned earlier, road cycling in the UK is not a hugely popular spectator sport. I find myself...

Who will be the big surprise at the tour?

Some good predictions there Irish, well done mate. :) I'm pleased for Wiggo too, let's hope he can stay safe for the next week and stay in contention. If he's still in the mix come the TT then it could get interesting!

    Have Columbia imploded...?

Who gave them a superteam tag? They've had a successful season, that cannot be denied. They are doing ok in the Tour so far and there are still two weeks to go.

Official Thread: TdF Stage 9, Saint-Gaudens - Tarbes 160.5 km

It's a shame that Sastre left Saxo in my opinion. The two Schlecks plus Sastre on the same team would be difficult for even Astana to keep an eye on. Although, I s'pose they would still get their butts kicked in the TTT and ITT's..........and Astana would still hold all the trump cards. They...

Official Thread: TdF Stage 9, Saint-Gaudens - Tarbes 160.5 km

It's all calmed down a bit now..... that was all a tad frantic! A good time for me to make a cup of tea......

Me neither. Strange. Some strong riders in that break but not a single threat on GC is there?
