Teams & Riders Froome Talk Only

Anyone notice that he's doing the testing at GSK the developers of GW1516? ;)

    JV talks, sort of

Seems like he could at least post aggregate team data. Say a monthly summary of substances tested for with results for each substance. He could include off scores without names to at least show the tests are done and always come back negative/normal (if in fact the team is clean).

    Doping in other sports?

funny that clen is not approved for human use in the US or Canada. How'd this moron make what he's claiming is an innocent mistake? Sports fans are gullible.

    Gran Fondo Hincapie (Feat. Lance)

Alex Howes: Wow! Doesn't instill tons of confidence that he's clean, or has a clear conscience himself.

Impey cleared of doping - free to race

It's just barely plausible. Based on the numbers from the cyclingtips article: 5-10mg residue on a pill counter after 30 proben tabs dispensed. 60 tabs dispensed so 10-20mg on the machine (might not scale linearly). How much is likely to get transfered to Impey's 20 gel caps? How much is...

Riders and Proof you could win Clean list

Can't believe he hasn't been mentioned, should be at the top of the list. Didn't he usher in the new clean era with his TdF win? 56. Sastre

    LeMond II

Testa I found this bit to be the most interesting part of the interview. Testa just couldn't imagine that anyone would ride without drugs, and he's still at Phonak 2.0. Makes me sad for the young guys on that team.

    2014 Tour de France, Stage 16: Carcassonne–Bagnères-de-Luchon (237.5 Km)

Glad to see Pinot ride down hill so well. His training to overcome that fear must have worked. Good to see his team take care of him on the descent. Excellent tactic to get Roy on the break and then help on the descent.

    Doping methods per rider please

I think strong candidates for many GC contenders are AICAR and GW501516 (other compounds that target the same protein are likely as well) taken together. The endurance and weight loss benefits seem to fit what has been observed in mice and rats. If I'm right, we're likely to see a rash of...

    The Clinic is inherently anti-Sky / anti-Froome

I said nothing about injustice, I was just pointing out the source of the bias that the OP is upset about. I think that source fits the trend of many opinions in this thread. AC gets less flack because he doesn't go on and on about marginal gains being the reason for his return to top form...

    The Clinic is inherently anti-Sky / anti-Froome

+1 Every time the topic of bias in the clinic comes up, this needs to be repeated ad nauseum so maybe people will finally catch on why some dopers catch more flack than others.

Should Wiggins Ride the Tour this Year?

for the cobbles I hope they bring Wiggins to help on the cobbled stage and he then rides away leaving Froome to lose time and thus building the internal team conflict that will be the only reason to watch what would otherwise be a boring tour. Added drama would be for Contador to lose time...

    The Climb (Froome's first autobiography)

We used Fedex. There's just additional paper work and that's as much for customs officials as it is for the shipper. All sorts of chemicals have to move around the world all the time on both large and small scale. Getting a bit of blood to a lab for testing within a 1.5 day window is not...

    The Climb (Froome's first autobiography)

I would think business as usual. I've sent and received protein samples to collaborators around the world without too much trouble.
