It depends of Mads Pedersen or WVA are in the mix. If Ganna can follow then a 100% fit WVA and Pedersen should be able to follow to and then it's just a lottery.
The only way Poggy doesn't win is if they screw up massively and somehow Jorgenson gets a huge bonus in the break (Kuss Vuelta vibes).
Visma bees can scheme all they want, if Poggy drops everyone every time the road goes even slightly uphill, you can't beat him.
It's clear he wasn't at the level of big 3, big 4, big 5 whatever like he used to be in period 2019-2023.
It's possible his injury in Spain last year is to blame. The alternative is that he's physically over his top.
In that regard next year will be an important one for him. We'll know more...
It's his first Fleche, so I don't think he has done it in an actual race.
But I haven't seen such a killer since MVP. He hardly never makes the wrong choices.
Bold statement here, but to me he's the absolute favorite for the Fleche.

What hits me the most is that he's been sprinting backwards all year.
His only weapen to win against MVP and Poggy is to somehow outlast and then settle the sprint (like he did in E3 2023).
