Re: You can also make the route with MapMyRide, export it as (elevationless) GPX there. Then upload that GPX file to GPS Visualizer and ask it to export to GPX. That exported GPX file will have altitude information that Cronoescalada can use.

Interesting interview with Moreno Moser, he says it's way too early/premature to call Wiggins a "star" and that Nibali is "overpaid judging on his results". http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/12987/Francesco-Moser-says-Nibali-and-Wiggins-are-not-yet-champions.aspx EDIT: Oops, interview with...

Rate the 2013 Giro d'Italia Route

I like it, feels pretty balanced to me. A shame there isn't one more 150km+ mountain stage. But otherwise cool (8/10 voted)

2012 Road World Championships, Mens Road Race Maastricht - Valkenburg 267 km 23/09/12

Yeah absolutely. Three Spaniards and three Frenchmen up front, both with a captain in the group (Contador, Voeckler) so those are going to ride hard. Leukemans and Meersman not at all at the same level of those.

Gerrans for the win here. Course suits him perfectly and he's been in better shape than Gilbert all season

Very sad to hear this news. Always hard to see people go way too early, my condolences to his friends and family :(

Boonen mentions to Sporza that he'd like the World Championships evolve into a Team event, instead of a Nations event. http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/wielrennen/WK/120915_boonen_voor_ploegentijdrit

    Worlds: your favourite.

I don't see how anyone can even consider Belgium a favourite for this.. okay, Gilbert is getting back into shape, but he's still nowhere close to the shape the Spanish have shown, and with their combined strength, Boonen will probably be dropped during the final.

    Top 10 Vuelta; who's clean?

I'm pessimistic enough to say none at all. At least I like to think that, so I can say "at least everyone is at an even level"
