Thinking back, the saddest thing is that Vingegaard didn't even get ridden off the wheel. He was dropped immediately. He cannot produce that kind of wattage, after that lenght of a stage. It wasn't a fight, it was a slavage mission, and he lost that as well.

I don't think Jonas in 2nd place is a forgone conclusion.

Pog certainly has a boss' attitude sometimes, but he really never gloats, and shows humility continually. That's why I can't dislike the guy. I would rather Jonas had won, and I will say that any hope of that ever happening this Tour or in the future, is gone. I do hope that someone will emerge...

I agree. Jonas being slowly caught by Lipo, says he expended energy he shouldn't have.
