Nonsense. The last stage of a race is still part of a race. however my issue with yesterday wasn’t the attack at the end, but letting him hang at 20-40 seconds for most of the climb.

It is a largely uphill TT, which undoubtedly helps him. i think Dumoulin is rounding into form, but this course isnt best suited for him. Roglic is obviously fit and who knows about Bernal, I expect he will be strong. I dont think anyone else can win.

Re: I like Roman Bardet but this disappoints me. I like riding my road bike better as well but if you don't force yourself into that position a lot you will never get used to it. Not every bit of training is meant to be fun. Hopefully this is a wake up call and he straps himself into a TT...
