Cycling on USA TVs, desktops, laptops, and handheld devices

I don't know what torks me off more: the constant buffering on Max (almost unwatchable at times) or the endless commercials on Peacock. I will say, the picture quality is better on Peacock.

Why I hate the Tour Down Under

When TV cycling commentators spend time explaining cycling basics to the uninitiated masses, the members of this forum have this reaction:

    Tour Down Under 2026 (Men's, Jan. 20-25)

It was nice to see Natnael Tesfatsion finish in the chasing group (6th). He's always lurking in sprinty stages: to see him climb so well gives me hope that he will get some decent results this year.

    Tour Down Under 2026 (Men's, Jan. 20-25)

I was half asleep and the riders were being shown on the screen at a quick pace but did I see Matteo Sobrero riding with two (red) water bottles on his bike? :openmouth: If not water bottles, what did I see?

    Moustache Man Morgado

Morgado has looked like a sour puss the few times I've seen him on a podium. He doesn't show any enthusiasm for the sponsors or the audience. I wonder if Morgado's lack of results is more mental / emotional than physical.

I 'm watching the Tour on my TV on Peacock via Comcast cable. I'm having no technical issues at all. Well, my only issue is how loud the commercials are compared to the race broadcast. Very annoying! I have to turn the volume down in order to avoid 'listener fatigue'.

Cycling on USA TVs, desktops, laptops, and handheld devices

Tour de France Tour de France 2024, Stage 1: Florence (Firenze) - Rimini, 206.0k

I remember Phil saying that. I think Bob's silence was just to let the faux pas pass. No biggie. Phil had a few missteps; Saying that the breakaway was cracking up when the camera shot went to Cav's group (with 2 DSM riders) struggling to turn over their pedals on a climb. Once in awhile I...
