As a fan, I would love him at AG2R because he will always have leadership in the big stage races. But Movistar makes more sense. He has a higher ceiling than Mas or Lopez IMO.

Can't see Bernal losing 2 minutes to Remco in the final TT. Bernal has shown he can defend quite well in a final TT, see the Tour De Suisse against Rohan Dennis. He isn't a terrible TTer when on form, and he has the recovery too.

Hopefully he still develop a rivalry with King Ganna .

Haven’t been a massive Nairo fan over the last few years but his move to Arkea-Samsic has made a new fan of me, and probably many others. Would love to see him contend in the Tour.

That would be very harsh, and not good publicity. In hindsight, his issues can be traced back to the prologue of the 2018 Giro. Crashing heavily like he did forced him to go very deep to salvage the race. It provided an amazing spectacle but possibly cost him the Giro-Tour double. The crash in...

Let's see how he does in the GC of 1 week European stage races against decent climbing opposition before hyping him too much. Beating Ganna by so much in a TT is impressive but it's early season.

A pretty good guess although it would seem a bit harsh on Castro to ditch him form the TdF team given his performances since joining. Although Moscon seemingly has a higher ceiling Castro seems a lot more reliable. Wouldn't be surprised if Kiryienka, Stannard or Knees also get GT call ups too.

IF Dennis joins he could also ride the Giro to learn from Thomas given their similar backgrounds and strengths. However, given the 4 GT winners aboard plus Sivakov showing a lot of potential and seemingly a 'typical' Sky/Ineos rouleur-climber I wonder if Dennis will have to shelve his GC...

Yes, I'd like to see Thomas finish his 'unfinished business' at Giro. It's a race that should suit him - doesn't mind bad weather, usually more TTs than TdF, long climbs etc. Just hope he gives it a better shot than Wiggins.

Definitely. With a better off season, I hope Thomas has a tremendous 2020. Has finished 1st and 2nd in the last 2 Tours, and could have possibly doubled up this year under slightly different circumstances.

As for Roglic, don't forget he was 2nd to Big Tom in the 2017 World ITT, ahead of Froome (Tour-Vuelta double though) and Dennis (mechanical issue though). He was just very tired after a long season winning many races.
