He looked pretty cooked on the first climb, could easily drop minutes today if he doesn't recover, had a team mate helping him last we saw though.

I feel like they are in a funny situation, they might be damned if they do and damned if they don't. Sky Train is Plan A surely, but riders are wise to it now, and it takes the pressure off Nibali and Astana. Just survive the pace then attack Wiggins in the final few kms to take time. But if...

I'd be shocked if it happened, but a Colombian attack on the final climb if Nibali is looking isolated could be a very brave tactic from Sky. Can't see it happening though, too much of a risk that they also drop Wiggins and then the wrong Sky rider ends up in pink, that would be an embarrassing...

Really impressive second half from Wiggins, shame about the bike change and awful descending in the first half.

All those people there to celebrate Wiggins, knowing they are seeing one of the greats of world cycling... Jesus Eurosport, take it down a notch or two.

Hopefully this TT will give an answer to the form of Wiggins in this Giro once and for all. A strong time and it says that all the little issues he's had in the first week have been problems elsewhere (confidence, tactics, luck) but an average or worse time and it'll be game over surely...

If it was gonna be hard before today, it became a hell of a lot harder after today. The worry isn't that he had a fall today, it's his whole attitude and body language all week, he doesn't seem either focussed or committed.

Agreed, it was great to see Nibali riding so aggressively. Even before the fall Wiggins was riding like he was terrified.

He must have got back up just as quickly as the first time!

You're right, I was just being a bit lazy and using his name as shorthand for all the other GC contenders really.
