To be fair to Wigans, he crashed and had a mechanical, and he seemed to do ******-all since the Olympics through winter.

The crash thing is getting more interesting. Rai radio is saying Wiggins crashed, Rai tv saying he didn't. Doubt we'll know for sure till Wiggins talks about it himself.

20s for the change, probably more for the crash, bad descending and bang you got 52s

Still, the "normal" Wiggins would be at least 1 minute ahead at this point.

Hahahaha both Uran and Henao faster than Wiggins in an ITT.

Sky is such a joke of a team, they sacrificed both of those yesterday for nothing...

It's flat now so Wiggo can make up time. He might lose it in that last climb though?

Sky is really *** to destroy their Colombians for some Sir dude

Sky dont care that much if henao and uran win or even if they come top 2. They would get more out of wiggins podiuming the giro than that .

I only have the cyclingnews ticker to go by, is it wrong? Dan Benson wrote that Wiggins already passed DiLuca, Henao and Kelderman.

Eurosport said that too, but the clock tells you otherwise.

Lol Henao and Kelderman riding together. Must be embarrasing to ovetake someone for a few minutes, and then he overtakes you again.

It's not flat out. There is another climb (long drag), then 12KM of flat and then the final ramp at the end.

Henao looks powerful but awkward next to WK.

Shows how important good cornering probably is in the first half.

Santambrogio now. Would be in 3rd but for DiLuca's stupidity yesterday.

I'm not sure if Di Luca waws stupid yesterday. Probably his job was to prevent the other GC contenders to take the bonus seconds infront of Santambrogio. It just looks bad because Santa actually outsprinted them. But you can't know that beforehand and if you have Di Luca you probably don't want to take chances.

I love how Sky goes from an unbeatable cyborg machine to total idiots on this forum ;). They're a team with a very successful and effective strategy, but they have not flexibility. I don't think it's fair to call it "failing" without their methods they would not have won the tour yesterday. It just doesn't always work out.
