    Job Opening in Cycling Anti-Doping

The vacancy describes nothing regarding benefits or in what way the job is embedded.

Agreed a lot of questions... I find it odd that they find abnormalities in his blood passports dating back to 2022. We are almost in 2026 now... Why did it take so long? What are the abnormalities?

I really disagree he is not big enough to really care. Here in the Netherlands this is mainstream sportnews. I think this shows one thing, doping is still happening (no surprise here I suppose), but also that also the old fashioned doping is still being attempted. Many here do not believe this...

Not replying to you specifically but just getting on the talent talk of everyone here. Having the talent for something is great but in the end it is not what is decisive. Intrinsic motivation, experience, environment, lifestyle are just as much essential. Decisive is what you do with your...

Hehe same here, i was one of the few in my environment who was supporting Ullrich.

I don't think so, here Lance was known with many non cycling enthousiasts. Pogacar is not.

    Moderation concerns

Hmmm... I disagree. So when something becomes more actual/hot topic leading to more discussion we are going to allow less freedom? Sounds quite oppressive to me. And 'that stuff just happens' is a horrible excuse.

I get what you are attempting to do and I agree with that. You did mention 'two groups', one that comes here to discuss the possibility of doped riders (either because they don't like it or because their fav rider is beaten) OR fans of said 'possibly doped' rider. You next go on to request...

You want to hear people saying he has a better coach now? Sure fine here you go, he has a better coach now and that must have let to some improvements and also tactically. I also think Pogacar is talented and very skilled, doping aside. For me this topic is about him doping and Gianetti's role...

Which pre ww2 era drugs do you mean? Alcohol, amphetamine, cocaïne, heroin, morphine? Pre ww1 heroin was just for sale legally.

People that do specific types of hard labour, especially that of decades and decades ago, are not necessarily that 'healthy', especially when it comes to overall fitness and physiology.

'nor been implicated in any scandal' This is where I differ so much from cycling journalists of today. The fact that we have Gianetti and co so prominent in a procycling team is a scandal in itself. And no matter how you spin it, Pogacar is attached to it.

I highly doubt this claim, any data anywhere to back this up?

Not sure why many are so going against your post, sure you write it a bit black and white. But I completely agree with you. That era, no offense, people can't claim quality and competition are comparable. My dad rode competively in that era and just seeing his material... Well that is laughable...
