Thanks for the replies . I was looking at saving some weight that is true but I was also interested in adding North American components to my ride. Just a personal choice but important to me.

Thinking about swapping out my dura ace cassette for something lighter. I thought about going red till I found an article about omni racer titanium cassettes. Anyone try them, any issues? They seem well constructed and light but what about durability? Thanks Jeff.

Tarmac frame repair Contacted calfee and they suggested that I send them the fork for follow up repair. Still not too clear on what they can to to mitigate the appearance but they are trying to satisfy my concerns. We shall see ....

Tarmac I suppose I should just get over it and ride the bike ....like everyone seems to agree get over being anal about looks are ride it. Still calfee should have taken better precautions so this would not have happened. I certainly would not return a frame to a customer looking like that...

Tarmac rapair I would just ride it but it looks horrible and I'm anal about what the bike looks like. My LBS put the bike back together for me but didnt mention the overspray at the time. I guess they figured it wasn't a big deal. I agree Calfee should have taken better precautions to minimize...

Tarmac I tried scratch remover, tooth paste, clay bar so the only things left would be the kitchen cleaners and wet sanding. I was at the lbs today and they have a custom paint guy who might have a trick or two that he would be willing to try. I would be afraid of sanding thru the layers right...

Tarmac I contacted the shop and they stated that every precaution is always taken to eliminate overspray but sometimes it happens. They advised me to use a quality auto polish and it will remover the overspray .....well that didn't work.

Recently had my frame repaired after an accident however the fork decal was hit with overspray and it dried thus ruining the decal and leaving a large white blotch on my fork. I have tried toothpaste, scratch remover and clay bar to remove the overspray .....nothing has worked, any suggestions...
