We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
The scenario: Froome get isolated after the pace is driven up by Saxo, Movistar and others. He then bonks hard at the start of the last climb. He's isolated with no teammates who are 5-6 minutes behind him. He struggles up the climb and a teammate catchs up and helps pull him up to the top. He...
Completely agree. If it wasn't for the positive sponsorship aspects, it would be even harder for the "smaller" teams to get sponsors. They love the TV time for their lone rider in a breakway even if he comes up short and doesn't win the stage.
I like the idea of the clown suit. Either that or make him start five minutes later than everyone else tomorrow with no team support to get back to the front. :p
Reality? Meh, the 20 second penalty is fine. The quote I saw attributed to him though doesn't sit well (paraphrase), "Well, I...

-The Ref (Dennis Leary is great and Kevin Spacey does a great job as well)
-The Usual Suspects
-Dogma ("Know him? The dude still owes me money.")
I'm not the target audience for this movie, but still think it is a blast after a few (or more than a few) drinks...
What is extremely frustrating to me is that the oversight that was supposed to be there wasn't. Look at the whole Madoff mess. Warnings were given to the SEC years in advance of the final blow up, but they did nothing. Bank regulators didn't do their job. Basically, the limited oversight...
