The 2013 CQ Ranking Manager Game

Hoping Henao and Betancur can do the business in the Vuelta for me and push me back into the top 10!

It highlights the danger of the rich person's play thing approach to team ownership.

    2013 Tour de France, stage 11: Avranches - Mont-Saint-Michelle 33km (ITT)

Could see EBH having a go. It's not the strongest TTing field and it would be interesting to see what he can do. He's been pretty average so far, so maybe he's been saving something. I feel a bit sorry for him these days.

Exactly that for me, except I'm doing slightly less well! Things aren't looking quite so good for me for the second half of the season though, and a lot depends on what Schleck does in the next few weeks - might be game over as I forgot to put him in my team.

Team Time trials in Grand Tours

The winners went at 58kph today. That's pretty cool. It's quite nice as a crap amateur racer to see what pros are capable of when they ride flat out and work together with no tactical messing about. I know that's not the most convincing argument for TTTs, but I enjoyed watching today.

I put £2.00 each way on Gesink at 500-1 with bet 365. I know he's working for Mollema, and has been a bit below par, but I think the lack of pressure might work in his favour. Worth a shot! Edit* you can get him at 600-1 now.

Three Cheers for the Tour de France

    1. Kittel - because my dad doesn't think anyone can beat Cavendish. 2. D. Martin - because I like the way he rides. 3. Froome - because I want to see what he can do when he is allowed to ride for himself.

    Rigoberto Uran discussion thread.

As other posters have said, Uran seems to cope pretty well without support. At OPQS he's practically guaranteed a head start in any race with a team time trial.

    Rigoberto Uran discussion thread.

from the article - "Speaking to L’Équipe at the Giro, the Colombian’s agent, Giuseppe Acquadro, said Urán is likely to leave the British team. “Unlike [Sergio] Henao, who is in the same situation, Urán won’t be staying with Sky because he wants to ride the Tour next year as a team leader, and...

Thanks for that! Glad I have Betancur, hoping Henao can spring back to life for the last week of the Giro. Where are you getting the info? Is the spreadsheet accessible anywhere?

Sign here if you think Henao is a future star on the european scene.

What do people make of Henao's time loss thus far in the Giro? I Haven't been able to watch the stages in depth but it seems like he is performing below expectations. Has he given any explanation for this, or he is he just out of form?
