Vuelta a España 2022 Vuelta a Espana Stage 2(s’Hertogenbosch- Utrecht), 175.1 Km Flat

True, but he also has shown in the past he can beat top sprinters. He lacks support obviously so needs to get lucky here. Also Red and Yellow not bad for a rider who always rides support in GT's.

Vuelta a España 2022 Vuelta a Espana Stage 2(s’Hertogenbosch- Utrecht), 175.1 Km Flat

No exactly as expected. The only way he would still be leader was if he was the first Jumbo over the line. Not going to happen. Teunissen looked fast could get a stage in this field.

    Vuelta a España 2022 Vuelta a Espana Stage 1(Utrecht-Utrecht), 23.3km TTT

Most likely Teunissen gets it on bonus seconds or placings if he competes in the sprints

Teams & Riders Team Visma - Lease a Bike

He's not talking about DQT being the main rival to TJV, but Albert heijn being the main rival for Jumbo in the Dutch market. They are the 2 biggest supermarket chains in the Netherlands. AH has light blue branding, where Jumbo is obviously yellow.

Arctic Race of Norway 2019 - 15/18 Aug

I I wouldn’t rule anything out with him, but he would have to shed some weight (mostly muscles). I wasn’t specifically talking about GT’s, but just GC for smaller races. I doubt he would ever try for GC in a GT, but then with him nothing is impossible.

Arctic Race of Norway 2019 - 15/18 Aug

VDP is really an all or nothing kind of guy. If he ever becomes a gc racer that would have to change. As prep for his goal (worlds) this is more valuable. He could maybe have limited his losses, but not enough to keep 1st.

Arctic Race of Norway 2019 - 15/18 Aug

That depends on his goals. His stated goal was to see how far he could go, not too loose the least time possible. For the gc he should have paced himself, but his goal was to learn

Teams & Riders The "MVP" Mathieu Van der Poel Road Discussion Thread

Apparently Matthieu only knew Bettiol was ahead at 5 km from the finish. He didn't see him go, he was too far back because he started too far back. He was that far back because he felt good enough to move up if needed. A rookie mistake, but that's one he probably won't make again. No idea if...

    World Championships Innsbruck 2018

I don't like it much either. I can understand small teams but make it 2 sperate events. Unless it's a really short distance the Dutch would be runaway winners. The men can compete with any team and the woman, just imagine a team of van der Breggen, van Vleuten and Van Dijk.

    World Championships Innsbruck 2018

I haven't seen anything here but accorcing to NOS and Sporza there wil be 'relay' race next year. First part is a 3 man TTT for men followed by a 3 woman TT. I don't know if it's just an idea or a serious plan.

    Clasica San Sebastián 2018, 4/8 - 228.7km

Re: I don't think so. They tried attacking, but couldn't get away. Like I said yesterday you know you're in trouble if Gesink is you're fastest man in a flat sprint. Numbers work if you can play them over a significant distance, not in a decent and a flat run in to the finish. They needed a...
