So how are the rumoured mountain stages? 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023 were better routes than the previous even years routes but 2024 was better than 2025, so maybe even year routes can be better than odd year routes nowadays?

Another awful route. Seems like both Giro and Tour are a step back from last year, not sure about Giro though, may need another look at both parcours. (worth noting that 2025 Tour was better than I initially thought, I think week 1 was great for example)

Not anything original or something but I think the route of the 2011 Tour de France could have been improved significantly by several changes whilst keeping the same start and finish towns. It is also a easy task for me in terms of returning to route design so: Stage 2 Les Essarts - Les Essarts...

When is the last time he had a bad day? 2023 Worlds TT? Or if you think that does not matter, Courchevel 2023? I think he has been on the podium of every race he has done since 2023 Lombardia with the exception of 2024 Quebec. And he races from February/March to October. On all kinds of races.
