    Best classic rider

That was the race Armstrong said he had a lot to learn. I think it's worth considering that Cancellara barely had a team support in 2011. Cancellara also could climb at times (Mendrisio 2009, Beijing 2008, Suisse 2009, Tour 2008) @Red Rick Anyways I think current Pogacar might well be unbeaten...

    Mancebo in the Pog era

Roglic would have been up there too without his DNF, probably fighting Evenepoel for 3rd.

    Mancebo in the Pog era

Vingegaard is 4 stars because of Pogacar. Without Pogacar, he is basically unbeaten since 2021 in GTs (Okay I think Roglic was stronger than Vingegaard in 2021 but still) (Also 2023 Vuelta Vingegaard could have won, basically gifted to Kuss). I think he is more dominant than Froome or Contador...

    Tadej Pogacar and Mauro Giannetti

2020 Lombardia was a big opportunity missed for Roglic/Van Aert with how the race turned out (Evenepoel crash - applies more for Van Aert though). Van Aert was great climbing legs that Tour too (Glieres, PDBF), could have beat Fuglsang. Roglic even crashed out in Dauphine.

And obviously 2020, where he lost a 1v1 sprint to VDP. Still not sure about 2022 though, he had excellent climbing legs in 2021 as well (Tokyo Olympics, Ventoux), yet wasn't good in Ronde.

    Rate Paris-Roubaix 2026

May have probably gone for 9 but that's it. (Assuming he wins in sprint vs WvA). If he wins by dropping everyone then obviously rating would have changed based on how race changed. I also think the sport needed this (a non Pogacar-VDP win).

    Rate Paris-Roubaix 2026

Well thats fair enough. And yes, I can't remember the last great Liege edition, which is a shame. Maybe Seixas can improve it from dismal to decent.

    Rate Paris-Roubaix 2026

Van der Poel group keeping close until like post Carrefour de l'Arbre was plenty of suspense. Plus Pogacar vs Van Aert aspect obviously.

    Rate Paris-Roubaix 2026

I think this is very reductive for Roubaix. I don't think the worst edition was 1/10. Okay, 2024 may have been but that's it. Between 2016-2026, I wouldn't rate any of them lower than 5 with the exception of 2024 and maybe 2018. On the other hand, I wouldn't rate the best Tour of 2016-2025 a...

Seems more of a long distance specialist these days. Doesn't have the punch he had in the past but gets better as race goes on. Was also very impressive at Sanremo. I think Ronde with the bergs is just not for him.

    Rate Paris-Roubaix 2026

Torn between 9 and 10. I think Van Aert winning after all the injuries he went through pushes me to 10 though.

    Paris-Roubaix 2026, one day monument, April 12

Not only that but he got 2 wins last season and 0 this season until today. I get where Libertine is coming but Wout wasn't winning like Pogacar or VDP or Vingegaard.

    Paris-Roubaix 2026, one day monument, April 12

Amazing race with an excellent winner. So happy for Wout. Sanremo was very exciting too (so was Strade Bianche Donne), but I don't think this is going to get beaten as best race day of the season.

    Tadej Pogacar and Mauro Giannetti

Well he barely loses, so there is barely any talk. The only big race he lost in the last calendar year is 2025 Paris-Roubaix where he was 2nd. (a 4x Tour winner finishing 2nd in Roubaix is suspicious itself)

    Strade Bianche 2026, March 7, one-day race

This is so boring. Literally slept and then turned off the channel.
